To provide a photoelectric conversion element being excellent in photoelectric conversion efficiency and stability of photoelectric conversion function, a method for producing the photoelectric conversion element, and a solar cell using the photoelectric conversion element. A photoelectric conversion element having a substrate, a first electrode, a photoelectric conversion layer containing a semiconductor and a sensitizing pigment, a hole transport layer having a conductive polymer, and a second electrode, wherein the hole transport layer is formed by bringing the photoelectric conversion layer into contact with a solution containing a conductive polymer precursor and an oxidizer at a ratio of 0.1<[Ox]/[M] (wherein [Ox] is the molar concentration of the oxidizer; and [M] is the molar concentration of the conductive polymer precursor), and irradiating the photoelectric conversion layer with light.
BIPYRROLINONE COMPOUND
An object is to provide bipyrrolinone compound that has a low absorption for wavelengths in the infrared region and exhibits a high degree of blackness when used as a black colorant. Another object is to provide articles including the compound, and examples of the articles include inks, printed matter, coating compositions, coated articles, plastics, fibers, films, cosmetics, and molded articles and further include articles in which any of the foregoing articles is used, such as near-infrared-transparent articles, wavelength-controlled devices, filters for infrared sensors, filters for solid-state image sensing devices, covers for LiDAR, coatings for vehicles equipped with an autonomous driving system, and black matrices for image display devices. A bipyrrolinone compound having a specific structure has been discovered, and the compound has been discovered to have a low absorption for wavelengths in the infrared region and have a high degree of blackness. Accordingly, the objects have been achieved.
Nonlinear Optical Chromophores Having a Diamondoid Group Attached Thereto, Methods of Preparing the Same, and Uses Thereof
Nonlinear optical chromophores having one or more diamondoid groups covalently attached to the chromophore, methods of making nonlinear optical chromophores, their use in thin films and electro-optical devices containing such nonlinear optical chromophores and thin films comprising the same.
MIXTURE, TONER, AND DISPERSION
A mixture contains a compound having a specific structure and acting as a dye and a compound having a specific structure and acting as an ultraviolet light absorbent.
AZACYANINE DYES AND USE THEREOF
The application provides fluorescent dyes, which are cyanine dyes that incorporate additional aza moieties in the indolenium heterocycles and/or in the methine chains connecting them. Symmetrical and unsymmetrical chemically reactive azacyanine dyes are described for conjugation, as well as their bioconjugates for in-vitro and in-vivo assays and fluorescence imaging.
Photoactivatable caged compounds with AIE characteristics: method of preparation and applications
A photoactivatable caged compound (TPE-C) with AIE characteristics is designed and synthesized. TPE-C is non-emissive either in solution or in aggregated state, but its luminescence can be induced to emit strong cyan emission in aggregated state by UV irradiation. Such property enables TPE-C to be applied in photo-patterning and anti-counterfeiting related areas.
Organic dye for a dye sensitized solar cell
Organic dye for a dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC) comprising at least one substituted pyrrole group. Said organic dye is particularly useful in a dye sensitized photoelectric transformation element which, in its turn, can be used in a dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC).
