Female button and combination of female button and male button
A female button is in an unlocked state when a rotator takes a first position and is in a locked state when the rotator takes a second position, insertion and removal of a post of a male button being allowed in the unlocked state, and insertion and removal of the post of the male button being hindered in the locked state. Arresting part or elastic member is provided with a projection which, when the rotator rotates toward the second position, displaces the arresting part toward the rotational axis before the rotator reaches the second position and, if the displacement of the arresting part toward the rotational axis is obstructed by the post, rotational resistance of the rotator is increased.
Clasp
A clasp which has a primary body and a secondary body couples a first elongated member with a second elongated member. The primary body has a bore and a pin extending within the bore. The secondary body has a rod. A pin bore is within the rod and defines an interior rod wall. A groove is within the interior rod wall. A leg is coupled to the pin. A locking channel is within the interior rod wall and coupled to the groove. The leg engages with the shaped locking channel for coupling and decoupling the primary body with the secondary body.
Female snap assembly with caged engagement member
A female snap assembly includes a cage and an engagement member. The cage defines a receiving region, and the engagement member is within the receiving region. The engagement member includes a base, an inner engagement wall extending from base, and an outer engagement wall extending from the base. In some examples, the engagement member defines a channel between the inner engagement wall and the outer engagement wall. In various examples, the inner engagement wall defines at least one notch extending through the inner engagement wall.
PROTECTOR WASHER
A female snap assembly includes a cage and an engagement member. The cage defines a receiving region, and the engagement member is within the receiving region. The engagement member includes a base, an inner engagement wall extending from base, and an outer engagement wall extending from the base. In some examples, the engagement member defines a channel between the inner engagement wall and the outer engagement wall. In various examples, the inner engagement wall defines at least one notch extending through the inner engagement wall.
Snap fastener receiver techniques
Techniques for a snap receiver are provided. In an example, a snap receiver can include a snap receiver base, and a lock ring. The snap receiver base can include a first opening in a first major surface, the first opening configured to first receive a snap post, and a plurality of lock legs extending from a second major surface. The lock ring can include a plurality of irregular slots, configured to secure the snap receiver to a fabric. A distal end of each lock leg can be configured to pass through the fabric and through a first end of a respective slot of the plurality of irregular slots. A first rotation of the lock ring with respect to the snap receiver base can lock a distal end of each of the lock legs within a second end of the respective slot of the plurality of irregular slots.
FASTENER WITH A CONSTRAINED RETENTION RING
A holder for a wirelessly locatable tag may include a snap assembly coupling a first element of the holder to a second element of the holder thereby securing the wirelessly locatable tag within a recess of the holder, the snap assembly including a male assembly having a protrusion component, a female assembly defining an opening that is configured to receive the protrusion component, a groove defined in one of either the male assembly or the female assembly, a compression ring positioned in the groove and configured to retain the male assembly to the female assembly, and a compliant member positioned in the groove and providing a biasing force on the compression ring.
MOUNTING BASE FOR A WIRELESSLY LOCATABLE TAG
A mounting base for use with a wirelessly locatable tag may include a base portion defining a latching member configured to engage a wirelessly locatable tag to releasably retain the wirelessly locatable tag to the mounting base, a contact block attached to the base portion and configured to be positioned at least partially within a battery cavity of the wirelessly locatable tag, the contact block defining a top side and a peripheral side. The mounting base may further include a first conductive member positioned along the peripheral side of the contact block and configured to contact a first battery contact in the battery cavity of the wirelessly locatable tag, a second conductive member outwardly biased from the top side of the contact block, the second conductive member configured to contact a second battery contact in the battery cavity of the tag, and a power cable coupled to the base portion.
Female member of snap fastener and resin spring used therein
A female member (1) of a snap fastener includes a main body (2) made of a metal and having a cylindrical tube portion (23) and a dish-shaped portion (22), a resin spring (3) housed in the main body (2), and a surface covering member (4) crimped onto the cylindrical tube portion (23). The resin spring (3) is a resin plate that can be housed in the main body (2), and the resin plate has a slot (35, 35A, 35B, 35C) at a central portion thereof. The cylindrical tube portion (23) has a support portion for the resin spring (3), and the resin spring (3, 3A, 3B, 3C) is fixed in position by the support portion.
Attachment Device
A method for attaching a first surface to a second surface with a fastening device. The fastening device has a female component having a female opening featuring a broader female width at a first depth and a narrower female width at a second depth. The female component also has a female attachment surface with an interior slope rising away from the female opening. The fastening device also has a male component with a male attachment member that at least partially conforms to the interior slope of the female attachment surface. The male attachment member also has a broader male width larger than the narrower female width. The method comprises mounting the female component to the first surface, mounting the male component to the second surface, aligning the male component to the interior slope on the female component and applying pressure to couple the male component and the female component.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADJUSTABLE MOUNTING
A mount secures an object to sheets of material with one or more material thicknesses. The mount includes an inner plate and an outer plate. The outer plate includes a coupler for the object and one or more contact surfaces associated with one or more material thicknesses. The inner plate includes a retention structure to engage a contact surface of the outer plate. A mounting system includes a mount and a coupler integrated with the object to be secured to a sheet of material. The object may be a camera and the mount may be a camera mount.
