Methods for making disinfecting compositions based on phototherapy, systems for use in disinfecting with a combination of photosensitizers, and the disinfecting compositions themselves, are described. Concentrations of the photosensitizers can be based on the particular light source and the wavebands or fluence rates emitted by the light source for maximum singlet oxygen generation. Concentrations of the photosensitizers can also be based on the quantum yield of the photosensitizers.
COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING LEUCO COMPOUNDS AND COLORANTS
A composition comprises (a) a leuco compound and (b) a colorant. The colorant preferably has an Aesthetic Value Index (AVI) of greater than −4. The colorant preferably is also complementary to the color exhibited by the colored analogue of the leuco compound (e.g., complementary to the color exhibited by the oxidized analogue of the leuco compound).

ANTHOCYANIN-BASED COLORANT COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Edible colorant compositions containing a monoacylated anthocyanin of Compound I and methods of use are provided. The colorant compositions include at least the monoacylated anthocyanin colorant of Compound I extracted from red cabbage and a metal ion, and have a pH from about 6.0 to about 8.0. The colorant compositions can be derived from a non-artificial product and provide a stable, blue colorant that can be used in food products. Specifically, the monoacylated anthocyanin colorant provides color characteristics similar to those provided by the artificial blue colorant, FD&C Blue No. 1.

A scintillator material includes a polymer matrix, a primary dye in the polymer matrix, the primary dye being a fluorescent dye; a secondary dye, and a Li-containing compound in the polymer matrix, where the Li-containing compound is a Li salt of a short-chain aliphatic acid. In addition, the scintillator material exhibits an optical response signature for thermal neutrons that is different than an optical response signature for fast neutrons.
RED PIGMENT COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER
Disclosed is a pigment composition which comprises (a) a pigment of formula wherein Ar.sup.1 is phenylene or C.sub.2-C.sub.6-heteroarylene, Ar.sup.2 is C.sub.6-C.sub.10-aryl or C.sub.2-C.sub.6-heteroaryl; and (b) a pigment derivative of formula (PM-C X1). (II), wherein P.sup.1 is a residue of a colorant chromophore, X.sup.1 is a group comprising an aliphatic carboxamide group, an aliphatic sulfonamide group, a carboxylic acid group or salt thereof, and m is 1, 2, 3 or 4. The pigment composition is suitable to color organic material, especially photosensitive resist formulations for use in color filter applications having high contrast ratios.

GREEN COLORED RESIN COMPOSITION
An object of the present invention is to provide a colored resin composition comprising a squarylium dye excellent in heat resistance. The colored resin composition according to the present invention is a green colored resin composition comprising a colorant, a resin and a solvent. The colorant contains a squarylium dye, and the content percentage of the resin is 70 mass % or more based on an amount obtained by subtracting the content of the colorant and the solvent from the total amount of the green colored resin composition.

The present invention discloses a display panel, a manufacturing method, and a display device, wherein the display panel includes: a color filter substrate; an array substrate disposed correspondingly to the color filter substrate and comprising two metal layers; and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the color filter substrate and the array substrate, wherein a reflection blocking layer is disposed on one of the metal layers near a viewer, to reduce a reflectance of the array substrate to ambient light. The present invention can improve display contrast, thus beneficial to improving a viewing experience of the viewer.
QUINOPHTHALONE COMPOUND
A new yellow pigment excellent in both brightness and coloring power is provided. It has been found that dimerization of a specific quinophthalone skeleton gives more selective absorption and transmittance. Furthermore, the dimerization method was also studied, and it has been found that excessive reddish tone can be suppressed by cleaving the conjugate using a methylene chain as a spacer instead of simply employing a direct bond. In addition, dispersibility has been improved by polyhalogenation and introduction of an imide structure. Furthermore, a coloring agent containing the quinophthalone compound and a coloring composition containing the coloring agent are provided.
