Forming and applying a mated fastener assembly
A mechanical touch fastener assembly (10,101) including two longitudinally continuous tapes (16), (18) carrying engaged fastener patches (12,12a), (14,14a,14b,14c). The first tape (16) carrying a series of first fastener patches (12,12a) arranged in a row along a length of the tape (16) and carrying a field of touch fastening features. Each first patch longitudinally spaced from adjacent first patches (12,12a). The second tape (18) carrying a series of second fastener patches (14,14a,14b,14c) carrying a second field of touch fastening features. The first (16) and second (18) tapes including a release liner (22), (24). The first (16) and second (18) tapes wound together to form a roll (60), with each of the first fastener patches (12,12a) releasably engaged to a respective one of the second fastener patches (14,14a,14b,14c) by inter-engagement of the first and second touch fastening features. As wound to form the roll (60), one patch of an engaged pair (25) has a leading edge (52,52b,52c) disposed behind a leading (50) edge of another patch of the engaged pair (25).
FASTENER
A fastening element is provided. The fastening element includes a gripping portion having a first face and a second face the first face of the gripping portion comprising a plurality of gripping elements, and an anchoring portion offset from the second face and extending parallel thereto so as to form a flange portion, wherein the flange portion comprises at least one chamfer located at a terminal section of the flange portion.
IMPROVED RETENTION DEVICE
Retaining device (1) comprising a base (10), a plurality of retaining elements (20) comprising a rod (30) surmounted by a head (40); in which, for each retaining element (20), in projection in a plane formed by the upper face (12) of the base (10), the lower end (34) of the rod (30) is inscribed within a first circle C1 with center O1, the head (40) is inscribed within a second circle C2 with center O2, said second circle being tangent to one end of the head (40) along the longitudinal direction (MD), the maximum dimension of the head (40) passing through the center of the circle C2 and extending along the longitudinal direction (MD) and/or the transverse direction (CD) is less than 80% of the diameter D2 of the second circle C2.
Strap member and strap assembly therewith
A strap member is provided and includes a strap body and a plurality of hook portions. The strap member includes a first surface and a second surface. Each of the plurality of hook portions includes a hole structure and at least one hook structure. The hole structure penetrates through the strap body and includes a first opening formed on the first surface and a second opening formed on the second surface. The at least one hook structure is at least partially disposed inside the hole structure and connected to a hole wall of the hole structure. Besides, a related strap assembly is also provided.
CONNECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RELEASING AN ADHESIVE CONNECTION
A connection system has a first adhesive which has a plurality of adhesive elements. The first adhesive has a first free end and a connection region, wherein the connection region is arranged or formed on a carrier element preferably designed as a flexible tape. A first pivotable part of the first adhesive is movable, in particular, pivotable, relative to the carrier element. The first pivotable part has free edges. In a state in which the first pivotable part is not pivoted relative to the connection region, i.e., in which both lie in a common plane, the free edges in the plane are not directly surrounded by adhesive elements of the first adhesive. The first pivotable part has, in particular, a larger number of adhesive elements than the connection region. A method for releasing such a connection system is disclosed, wherein the connection system has a second adhesive.
