ENVIRONMENTALLY STABLE ORGANIC PIGMENTS
The invention relates to environmentally stable organic pigment which is modified by a polymer and characterized by a change of Delta E (dE) of less than 5 after 2000 h simulated accelerated weathering measured according to DIN EN ISO 11341 in silicone paint.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL LATEX ARTICLE
A multi-layered multifunctional polymeric latex article is provided. A first polymeric latex layer, having nitrile butadiene, is resistant to chemical permeation whilst the second polymeric latex layer disposed on the first layer, being a composite layer of polychloroprene and Nano clay, is resistant to chemical degradation. The third layer disposed on the second layer is a polychloroprene layer having a unique micro-roughened surface texture pattern, providing an improved grip and friction in both wet and dry conditions. The second and third layers are disposed during the wet gelled stages of the first and second layers respectively. The gelled third layer is dipped in a solvent mixture whereby a chemical reaction causes the gelled surface of the third layer to texturize by swelling and fixing, creating a continuous and discontinuous wavy micro-roughened surface which is then cured causing formation of ionic crosslinks in the third polymeric layer.

Electromagnetic-wave transmitting cover and door outer handle including same
Disclosed are an electromagnetic-wave transmitting cover that transmits electromagnetic waves transmitted/received by an LF antenna and an RF antenna and an electric field generated from a capacitance touch sensor while realizing a metallic texture, and a door outer handle including the same. The electromagnetic-wave transmitting cover includes: a substrate; a primer layer formed on a surface of the substrate; and a first metal layer formed by depositing and having a plurality of first microcracks penetrating in a thickness direction.
Substrate wrinkled coating
A system and a method include a substrate wrinkled coating having a substrate, and a curing layer on top of the substrate. The curing layer includes a partially cured portion directly atop the substrate, and a completely cured portion having light-diffusive wrinkles on top of the partially cured portion. Properties of the light-diffusive wrinkles are controlled by one or more curing parameters, and a composition of the partially cured portion is the same as a composition of the completely cured portion.

Surfacing materials and method of manufacture
A textured release sheet includes a substrate, which has been electron beam treated, including a top side and a bottom side. A matte surface is formed on the bottom side thereof, wherein the matte surface of the surfacing material is a coating of an radiation curable material applied to the bottom side of the substrate. The coating is an UV curable acrylate mixture applied to the substrate, wherein the UV curable acrylate mixture is irradiated with UV-radiation via an excimer laser emitter to produce a UV-irradiated layer wherein the UV curable acrylate mixture is only crosslinked on the surface thereof, which produces a matting surface through the effects of a micro-convolution.
