GLASS MATERIAL FOR ENAMEL, ENAMEL PRODUCT AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR ENAMEL PRODUCT
A glass material for enamel is provided that can be used to produce an enamel product in which a luster pigment does not dissolve in glass and can thus maintain its luster properties to provide a metallic texture and high surface gloss. The glass material for enamel in accordance with the present invention contains a frit that has a composition thereof including 40 wt % to 60 wt % of silicon dioxide, 15 wt % to 35 wt % of boron oxide, and 18 wt % or less of one or more alkali metal oxides selected from the group consisting of lithium oxide, sodium oxide and potassium oxide, and a luster pigment for providing a metallic look.
DISC-SHAPED PIGMENT, PRINTING INK, SECURITY ELEMENT AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION
A platelet-shaped pigment with a layer construction comprises the following layers in the order, optionally a carrier substrate; a transparent embossing lacquer layer with an embossed relief structure; a reflection-increasing coating which follows the relief structure and forms a reflecting microstructure, wherein the reflecting microstructure is present in the form of a mosaic of a multiplicity of reflecting mosaic elements and the reflecting mosaic elements do not reflect the incident light in the direction of the specular reflex, regarding the plane of the platelet, but in a spatial direction deviating therefrom and respectively have a lateral dimension 1 greater than 2 m.

LAYERED BODY
A laminate containing a metallic base layer and a transparent colored layer formed on the metallic base layer, wherein, when
X=[(C*45).sup.2+(C*75).sup.2)].sup.1/2, and
Y=[(L*15).sup.2+(C*15).sup.2)].sup.1/2+[(L*25).sup.2+(C*25).sup.2)].sup.1/2,
X is 64 or more, and Y is 191 or more; and the measured value of graininess (HG value) is 45 or less,
with the proviso that C*15, C*25, C*45, and C*75 represent chroma calculated from spectral reflectances of light illuminated at an incident angle of 45 degrees with respect to the laminate and received at respective angles of 15 degrees, 25 degrees, 45 degrees, and 75 degrees deviated from the specular reflection light, and that L*15 and L*25 represent lightness calculated from spectral reflectances of light illuminated at an incident angle of 45 degrees with respect to the laminate and received at respective angles of 15 degrees and 25 degrees deviated from the specular reflection light.
PIGMENTS
Pigments based on particles which are coated with at least one layer which consists of a mixture of amorphous carbon (a-C) and nanocrystalline graphite (nc-graphite) and use of these pigments in, for example, paints, plastics, industrial coatings, automotive coatings, printing inks and cosmetic formulations.
