Paint remover
A composition for paint or spot removal having a carrier, a chemical component selected from the group consisting of Tetraoxaundecane (TOU), N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether, Ethylene Glycol Phenyl Ether, Propylene Glycol Phenyl Ether, Dipropylene Glycol N-Butyl Ether, and a combination thereof, and a co-solvent. A method of using the composition to remove a stain or spot from a carpet or other non-porous or hard surface is provided.
POLISH REMOVER FORMULATIONS
The present invention relates to a polish remover formulation. The present invention more specifically focuses on the use of a blend of glycerol ketals and/or acetals in polish remover formulations, notably for promoting the polish removing performances.
CLEANING COMPOSITION
Provided herein is a cleaning composition including: from 20 to 90% by weight of dimethyl sulfoxide, from 5 to 30% by weight of at least one mineral oil (M), and from 5 to 50% by weight of at least one bipolar organic solvent (L). The ranges of proportions indicated are in each case based on the total weight of the cleaning composition. Also provided herein is a method of cleaning components by employing the cleaning composition, and also the cleaned components themselves.
ANTIMICROBIAL SACRIFICIAL FLOOR COATING SYSTEMS
Disclosed are antimicrobial sacrificial floor coatings systems including an antimicrobial sacrificial floor coating composition capable of reducing and/or preventing gram positive and gram negative bacterial growth on floors. Also disclosed is an antimicrobial sacrificial floor coating remover being readily capable of removing the antimicrobial sacrificial floor coating as desired from previously treated flooring surfaces. In certain aspects, the antimicrobial sacrificial floor coatings can include a cationic acrylic polymer; a nonionic wax; and a cationic alkyl biguanide or salt thereof. The antimicrobial sacrificial floor coating may further include a cationic wax that further stabilizes the system during storage, application, and/or post-application to a floor surface. The antimicrobial sacrificial floor coating composition has a pH of less than 7 while exhibiting continuous antimicrobial properties from full cure on a floor surface up to 1 year post-application to the floor surface at a minimum contact time of 1 hour.
Detergent for gentle removal of inks and markers
The invention relates to a detergent for gentle removal of inks as used for marking in a roll mill, and to markers as used in production for temporary marking. According to the invention, the problem is solved by a detergent which permits the gentle removal of inks or markers from metallic surfaces in the form of a concentrate or a cleaning bath solution containing at least one water-immiscible solvent in an amount of 4 to 200 g/l, at least one anionic and/or nonionic surfactant in an amount of 8-300 g/l, at least one complexing agent in an amount of 1-100 g/l, at least one buffer substance in an amount of 1-100 g/l and at least one water-miscible solvent in an amount of 4-200 g/l in water.

Maintenance Liquid And Method Of Maintenance
Provided is an aqueous maintenance liquid for use in maintenance of an ink jet recording apparatus ejecting an ink composition. The ink composition is an aqueous ink composition containing a coloring material. The maintenance liquid contains an organic amine and an organic solvent other than the organic amine. The organic solvent contains Polyol A with a normal boiling point of 250? C. or lower. The content of Polyol A is greater than 20.0% by mass with respect to the total amount of the maintenance liquid. The content of the organic amine is 0.3% by mass or more with respect to the total amount of the maintenance liquid. The total content of the organic solvent is less than 30.0% by mass with respect to the total amount of the maintenance liquid. The organic solvent does not contain Polyol B with a normal boiling point of higher than 250? C. in an amount of greater than 1.0% by mass with respect to the total amount of the maintenance liquid.
