CYCLODEXTRIN COMPOSITIONS, ARTICLES, AND METHODS
Cyclodextrin compositions including one or more radiation polymerizable monomers and a cyclodextrin inclusion complex, the cyclodextrin inclusion complex including a cyclodextrin compound and an olefinic inhibitor of an ethylene generation in produce, are coated onto packaging materials and cured. Treated containers and treated package inserts having the cured cyclodextrin compositions are useful in packaging of respiring plant materials.
Packaging material
Packaging material for food products with antimicrobial and antifungal properties including: a) a core layer of polymeric material including at least one active substance having antimicrobial and/or antifungal activity dispersed in the polymer matrix, b) a coating applied to a side of the core layer obtained from a lacquer or a polymeric paint including nano-fillers of a phyllosilicate or hydrotalcite, c) a coating for the release of an active antimicrobial or antifungal agent comprising encapsulated ethanol and a polymeric component selected from chitosan grafted with polyethylene glycol or cyclodextrin, a mixture of chitosan and polyethylene glycol and a polymer or mixture of polymers for printable paint applied to other side of the base layer; optionally the material further comprises: d) a coating with oxygen scavenger activity applied to the coating layer c) and/or a further coating e) including active substances of type b).
PRECURSORS FOR FORMING HETEROPHASIC ODOR-ABSORBING AND ANTI-FOULING POLYMERIC COATINGS
An aqueous or water-borne precursor liquid for forming an odor-absorbing and anti-fouling heterophasic thermoset polymeric coating is provided. The precursor includes a fluorine-containing polyol precursor having a functionality >about 2 that forms a branched fluorine-containing polymer component defining a first phase in the anti-fouling heterophasic thermoset polymeric coating. The precursor also includes a first precursor that forms a first component including a cyclodextrin present as second phase. The first phase can be a continuous phase and the second phase can be a first discrete phase, or the second phase can be the continuous phase and the first phase can be the first discrete phase. A crosslinking agent, water, and optional acid or base are also present. An emulsifier may also be included. Methods of making an odor-absorbing and anti-fouling heterophasic thermoset polymeric coatings with such precursors are also provided.

IMPLANTABLE DEVICE COMPRISING A TEXTILE COMPONENT COMPRISING MULTIFILAMENT YARNS AND/OR SPUN YARNS MADE OF FIBERS COMPLETELY OR PARTIALLY COATED IN CYCLODEXTRIN POLYMER
The present invention relates to an implantable device comprising a textile component at least partially coated with a host polymer coating, said host polymer coating comprises a polymer of cyclodextrin(s) and/or derivatives of cyclodextrin(s) and/or inclusion complex(es) of cyclodextrin and/or inclusion complex(es) of cyclodextrin derivatives. Advantageously, said textile component comprises multifilament yarns and/or spun yarns made of fibers, at least a part of the filaments and/or fibers each having a diameter less than or equal to 25 micrometers.
Resin composition and film using same
The present invention is a resin composition characterized by being able to undergo elastic deformation, having little residual strain rate and exhibiting stress relaxation properties. More specifically, the present invention relates to a resin composition wherein the stress relaxation rate (R) and the residual strain rate (), as measured in a prescribed extension-restoration test, are as follows: 20%R95% and 0%3%.

GEMSTONE COATINGS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
Disclosed herein are coated gemstones, coatings for gemstones, methods of coating gemstones, and methods of using coatings on gemstones to avoid blemishes on gemstones. In some embodiments, diamonds are functionalized with anchor molecules that bind hydrophilic cyclodextrin molecules to confer hydrophilicity on the diamond. In some embodiments, the diamonds resist dirt and grime build-up.
Acetaldehyde scavenger treatment
A method of forming a vehicle interior foam article, the method including applying a mold release agent onto an inner surface of a mold, delivering a solution having aldehyde scavenger(s) to the mold such that a reaction of the aldehyde scavenger(s) with the mold release agent is prevented, delivering a foam material into the mold, and casting the article.
