Molding apparatus
12023837 · 2024-07-02 · ·

This manufacturing method of a molded surface fastener involves a primary molding step for forming a primary molded body and a secondary molding step for compressing a provisional element of the primary molded body while heating the same. A molding apparatus is provided with a mold member comprising multiple penetration holes and multiple concave portions, whereof each penetration hole communicates to at least one concave portion; in the primary molding step, the molding apparatus is used to form a primary molded body comprising a provisional element having a primary stem portion and a pawl portion is formed from the protruded portion by compressing the provisional element. By this means, it is possible to stably manufacture a molded surface fastener that has an engaging element comprising a pawl portion that projects from the outer peripheral edge of an engaging head portion.

A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360? allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. The devices of the disclosure can also be used to organize and hold loose items together.

Fastener member, fastener structure, and support member

The inventive fastener member, fastener structure, and support member can reduce rattling and noise without reducing the ease of assembly. The fastener member 10 includes guided portions 12A, 12B that are guided in the mounting direction D1 by guide portions 22A, 22B. Elastically deforming portions 30A, 30B formed on the guided portions 12A, 12B can elastically deform in a direction that intersects with the mounting direction D 1. When the fastener member 10 is mounted, the elastically deforming portions 30A, 30B deform elastically, so it can be easily assembled without interference between the guide portions 22A, 22B and the guided portions 12A, 12B. After it is mounted, the fastener member 10 is supported without play by the guide portions 22A, 22B of the support member 20 due to the elastic force generated between the elastically deforming portions 30A, 30B and the receiving portions 40A, 40B.

A first example of the object transport assembly includes a body attachment member adapted to attach to a wearer and an object attachment member adapted to attach to an object to be transported. An insert including a notch formed therein is carried on one of the body attachment member or object attachment member and forms a male portion of a dovetail joint. An insert receiving channel is carried on the other of the body attachment member or object attachment member and forms a female portion of a dovetail joint that mates with the insert. The insert receiving channel includes a pin that is biased in such a way that the pin automatically slides into the notch when the insert mates with the insert receiving channel. An actuator is operably connected to the pin and is operable to move the pin out of the notch for removal of the insert from the insert receiving channel.
