HEAT-FUSIBLE TEXTILE HOOK-AND-LOOP FASTENER
The present invention relates to a heat-fusible woven fabric hook-and-loop fastener including a woven fabric hook-and-loop fastener obtained by using a weft yarn in which a sheath component is a polyester-based hot melt resin (B) and a heat-fusible resin layer formed of a polyester-based hot melt resin (A) formed on the back surface of the woven fabric hook-and-loop fastener, wherein the heat-fusible resin layer is fused to a warp yarn only, and the melting point of the polyester-based hot melt resin (B) is higher than the melting point of the polyester-based hot melt resin (A) by 50 to 110° C. The heat-fusible woven fabric hook-and-loop fastener has excellent flexibility before being fused to an adherend, can be firmly fused and fixed to an adherend such as a fabric or a soft vinyl chloride sheet, and has excellent flexibility and high engagement force even after being fused and fixed.
FABRIC HAVING RESTRAINING FUNCTION
A fabric having a restraining function is fabricated through at least one yarn having thermoplastic fibers, at least one surface of the fabric has hairiness formed with a plurality of thermoplastic hairs, wherein a first restraining hair having a distal end formed with a spherical member and/or a columnar member is formed through at least a part of the thermoplastic hairs, second restraining hair having a distal end formed with an irregular deformed member is formed through at least a part of the first restraining hairs, so that the at least one surface of the fabric is able to provide a restraining function in a horizontal direction and in a vertical direction to a plurality of fibriform loops.
Molded surface fastener
The molded surface fastener has a base portion, right and left resin-intrusion-preventing wall portions standing on the base portion, and a plurality of engaging elements disposed between the right and left resin-intrusion-preventing wall portions. The resin-intrusion-preventing wall portions contain magnetic particles, and at least a part of a region formed of the resin-intrusion-preventing wall portions and the base portion has a concentration gradient portion in which a concentration of the contained magnetic particles is decreased toward at least one direction. This makes it possible to enhance the adhesion property between the part containing the magnetic particles and the part substantially containing no magnetic particles, and to suppress occurrence of cracks or the like between the containing part and the non-containing part of the magnetic particles at the time of manufacturing the molded surface fastener and at other times.
TOUCH FASTENER PART
1. Touch fastener part
2. A touch fastener part having a first substrate tape (10) having hooking elements (12) arranged on one side thereof, and having a second substrate tape (16) which, connected to the first substrate tape (10), has a connection means (20) on its side facing away from the hooking elements (12), wherein the second substrate tape (16) is wider than the first substrate tape (10) and at least one free lateral edge area (22) of the second substrate tape (16) projects beyond the adjacent longitudinal edge of the first substrate tape (10), and wherein the two substrate tapes (10,16) can be bent along and transversely to their longitudinal orientation, is characterized in that at least one free side edge area (22) of the second substrate tape (16) is provided with a weakening of resistance (27) in such a way that bending the two substrate tapes (10,16) transversely to their longitudinal orientation is facilitated.
Flexible fastener for textiles
A flexible fastener includes a plurality of arrays of studs engaged with complimentary arrays of rings. The studs of each array are connected to diagonally adjacent studs via arms adjoining the stem of the stud. Interstitial recesses defined by the arms and stems are sized and configured to engage with the heads of studs on an engaging fastener piece. In embodiments, the fastener provides high tensile strength, continuous adjustment in two directions, and improved comfort when used in a garment. In some embodiments the fastener includes features which ensure alignment between pieces.
Method of assembling at least two units, and a corresponding assembled structure
A method wherein a first unit (10) is provided having a field of grip elements (12), and a second unit (20) provided with retention elements (22) suitable for co-operating with the grip elements (12) of the first unit (10) in order to provide a self-gripping fastening. The first and second units are put into contact in such a manner that the grip elements (12) of the first unit and the retention elements (22) of the second unit provide a self-gripping fastening (F). A treatment zone of the self-gripping fastening is treated in order to deform the grip elements (12) of the first unit (10) and/or the retention elements (22) of the second unit (20), whereby the first and second units (10, 20) are permanently secured to each other, thereby forming an assembled structure.
Laminated touch fasteners
A method of making a laminated touch fastener includes introducing a flexible substrate to a resin applicator, applying flowable resin to a limited region of a surface of the substrate, and molding the applied resin to form a plurality of defined structures extending from a layer of the applied resin. The substrate surface, as the substrate is introduced to the resin applicator, has a surface characteristic that varies across the surface. The surface includes both a first region and a second region adjacent the first region, the surface characteristic varying to a greater degree within the second region than within the first region. The flowable resin may be applied within the first region such that an edge of the resin layer is disposed within, and adjacent an exposed portion of, the first region of the substrate surface.
SECURING SYSTEM FOR FOOTWEAR
A cap for capping an upper surface of a shoe a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer. The first layer has an outer surface that has a coefficient of friction that is greater than that of the upper surface of the shoe that the cap caps. The second layer is an adhesive layer. The third layer is a release layer that can be peeled off the adhesive layer to expose it, thereby enabling the adhesive layer to stick to the shoe.
Fastening tape with injected foam gasket
Described is a fastening tape that includes a plurality of attachment portions extending upwardly from a bottom portion of the fastening tape. The fastening tape also includes at least one inner wall disposed adjacent to at least some of the plurality of attachment portions and at least one outer wall offset from the at least one inner wall such that a cavity is disposed between the at least one inner wall and the at least one outer wall. Finally, the fastening tape includes an injected foam member disposed in the cavity.
