A primer composition and a laminated substrate with a primer are provided. The primer composition includes 60 to 90 parts by weight of vinyl-aromatic-conjugated-diene copolymer, 1 to 16 parts by weight of a compound having at least three of terminal acryloyloxy groups and 5 to 24 parts by weight of a silane coupling agent, wherein the silane coupling agentis distinct from the compound having at least three of terminal acryloyloxy groups.

An asphalt composition for use as a shingle roof coating is described. The asphalt composition includes a first asphalt feedstock and a first concentrate. The first concentrate includes an elastomeric polymer and an asphalt flux. The asphalt composition includes 0.5% to 6% by weight of the elastomeric polymer. The elastomeric polymer includes a styrenic block copolymer. The first concentrate includes 3% by weight to 25% by weight of the styrenic block copolymer. The first concentrate includes 3% by weight to 15% by weight of one of an ethylene polymer and an ethylene propylene copolymer. The first concentrate has a penetration of at least 100 dmm.

An asphalt composition for use as a shingle roof coating is described. The asphalt composition includes a first asphalt feedstock and a first concentrate. The first concentrate includes an elastomeric polymer and an asphalt flux. The asphalt composition includes 0.5% to 6% by weight of the elastomeric polymer. The elastomeric polymer includes a styrenic block copolymer. The first concentrate includes 3% by weight to 25% by weight of the styrenic block copolymer. The first concentrate includes 3% by weight to 15% by weight of one of an ethylene polymer and an ethylene propylene copolymer. The first concentrate has a penetration of at least 100 dmm.
PRE-LAID POLYMER WATERPROOF ROLLING MATERIAL
A pre-laid polymer waterproof rolling material, which comprises a sheet-like polymer carrier, a hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the sheet-like polymer carrier, and an anti-sticking coating on the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive layer; The anti-sticking coating comprises the following components: 100-160 parts by weight of water; 50-80 parts by weight of a polyurethane resin; 15-20 parts by weight of a pigment; 10-12 parts by weight of a filler; 0.3-1 part by weight of a cross-linking agent; 0.5-1 part by weight of an antioxidant; 1-2.5 parts by weight of an anti-ultraviolet agent; and 0.03-0.2 part by weight of a thickener. The anti-sticking coating in the present application uses water as a solvent, water is non-toxic and non-corrosive, thus there is no environmental pollution problem in the production process.
Sulfonated block copolymer laminates with polar or active metal substrates
Disclosed herein is a process for laminating a polar substrate with a film cast from a sulfonated block copolymer having at least one end block A and at least one interior block B wherein each A block contains essentially no sulfonic acid or sulfonate ester functional groups and each B block is a polymer block containing from about 10 to about 100 mol percent sulfonic acid or sulfonate ester functional groups based on the number of monomer units. The film is exposed to water and dried onto a polar or active metal substrate. The laminates do not delaminate in the presence of water, or in a humidity of up to 85%, and at a temperature of at least 60° C. The laminates are used for a variety of applications including energy exchange applications.
COATING FILM FOR STRUCTURE, SET OF COATING MATERIALS FOR FORMING COATING FILM, COATING MATERIAL FOR UNDERCOAT LAYER, AND COATING METHOD
A coating film capable of being peeled off in the shape of sheet to facilitate a coating film removal work, and is less likely to peel even after long periods of use on an underwater structure is provided. The coating film comprises an undercoat layer to be bonded to an underwater structure, and an antifouling layer bonded to the undercoat layer, wherein: a 100-gram underwater constant load peeling degree of the coating film is less than 5; a ratio of a tensile breaking strength of the coating film to an adhesive force of the coating film with respect to the underwater structure, as measured after immersing the coating film in pure water at 60° C. for 5 weeks is 1.5 or more; and a 1-mm square cross-cut stretching-caused peeling degree of the antifouling layer with respect to the undercoat layer is 0.05 or less.
Gloss removable coating
A coating composition comprises at least one solvent, at least one resin, and at least one filler, wherein the filler is silica-deficient, sodium-potassium alumina silicate. The silica-deficient filler may be a sodium-potassium alumina silicate that contains less than 0.1 percent by weight crystalline silica and is 5 percent by weight or less of the coating composition or 1 percent by weight or less of the coating composition. In the later instance, the coating composition contains less than 0.001 percent crystalline silica. The resin may comprise styrene, styrenic copolymers, or mixtures including styrene. The composition provides a temporary gloss coating that may be removed physically, as by peeling for example. A method for coating a substrate with a coating that maybe removed by physical means is also provided. The method comprises applying the disclosed coating composition.

Block copolymers for use in block copolymer lithography, self-assembled films of the block copolymers and methods for polymerizing the block copolymers are provided. The block copolymers are characterized by high Flory-Huggins interaction parameters (). The block copolymers can be polymerized from protected hydroxystyrene monomers or from tert-butyl styrene and 2-vinylpyridine monomers.

Sealing lacquer for application in a printing process, in particular for sealing packaging parts which can be peeled off from one another. The sealing lacquer has in particular a) 40 to 65 wt % solvent, b) 0 to 10 wt % styrene butadiene block copolymer, c) 8 to 12 wt % styrene alpha methylstyrene, d) 6 to 12 wt % linear and/or radial Tri-block (SBS) block, e) 0 to 10 wt % linear Di-Block (SB) block, f) 15 to 30 wt % polyester, and g) up to 3 wt % antioxidant. The sealing lacquer provides a seal that, whether the seal is opened by peeling, or the packaging is push-through packaging, provides a holding force exhibiting a strength until cohesion failure that is determined by the pressures and temperatures used during sealing.
