SOLID-STATE SOLAR PAINT
Methods and devices for forming painted circuits using multiple layers of electrically conductive paint. In one aspect, a painted circuit includes a substrate and one or more paint layers applied to the substrate where the one or more paint layers each form an electrical component of the painted circuit, and where the one or more paint layers includes a p-type hole conducting paint layer applied to the substrate, a photosensitized paint layer applied to the p-type hole conducing paint layer, an n-type electron conducting paint layer applied to the photosensitized paint layer, and a transparent protective paint layer applied to the n-type electron conducting paint layer.
COLORED PAINT WITH FLUORESCENCE
A paint composition comprises a carrier material, a plurality of ambient light absorbing pigment particles dispersed in the carrier material comprising a component that absorbs predetermined visible wavelengths, and a plurality of fluorescent pigment particles dispersed in the carrier material, wherein the fluorescent pigment particles emit a first color and the paint composition emits a second color different from the first color when illuminated by an ultraviolet light source. The paint composition can act as a video projection surface with usable screen gain.
MATTE SHEET AND MATTE PRODUCT MADE THEREFROM
A matte sheet includes a substrate and a matte coating layer. The matte coating layer is formed on the substrate. The matte coating layer has an average thickness ranging from 2.5 m to 6 m and is made from a coating composition that includes a matting agent. The matte coating layer satisfies an inequality formula of 5<d.sub.50/Ra11. D.sub.50 stands for a particle size distribution of the matting agent and Ra stands for a roughness of the matte coating layer. The matte product made from the matte sheet is also provided.

LATEX PRODUCTS HAVING POLYMERS AND POLYMER ADDUCTS AS QUICK-SETTING ADDITIVES
A latex product composition that includes an anionicaily-stabilized latex; at least one volatile base compound; and one or more water soluble, polymers or polymeric adducts that have a backbone with a plurality of amine functional groups and hydroxyl functional groups. The polymers or polymeric adducts may be an addition product formed from at least one multifunctional amine compound reacted with one or more polyfunctional epoxy compounds, one or more monofunctional epoxy compounds, or a combination thereof. The polymers or polymeric adducts are formed by the addition reaction of the amine compound and the one or more epoxy compounds with 1.3 to 3.8 amine functional group per epoxy functional group. The addition product may be present in about 0.1 to 15.0 wt. % and the at least one volatile base compound is present in about 1.0 wt. % to 10.0 wt. % based on the weight of the particles present in the anionicaily-stabilized latex.

Anti-skid compositions and methods of making and using the same
Described herein are anti-skid compositions that exhibit good mechanical strength, water resistance, and minimal product transfer. In certain aspects, the anti-skid compositions can be applied to articles using an aerosol delivery system. The anti-skid compositions can be applied to any article such as, for example, a rug, floor mat, chair mat, runner, and the like. The anti-skid compositions are particularly effective in preventing sliding or skidding of area rugs on or across substrates such as, for example, hard floors.
