A fastener tape, a slide fastener, a skin product, and a method of forming the fastener tape are provided. The method includes forming fabric tapes made from high-melting warp yarns and weft yarns. The fabric tapes each include an outer connecting portion and an inner connecting portion. Fastener teeth are sewn to an outer side of the inner connecting portion through a sewing thread. The inner connecting portion includes an teeth sewing region. A low-melting component is provided in at least the teeth sewing region, and the low-melting component thermally welds the high-melting sewing thread, warp yarns, and weft yarns to form a hardened structure. The method further includes heating, after the fastener teeth are sewn to the fabric tapes, the fabric tapes for bending and shaping, such that the low-melting component thermally welds the sewing thread, the warp yarns, and the weft yarns.

A waterproof fastener chain includes: a pair of fastener tapes made of polyester resin adjacent to each other at a given space between each side edge thereof, rows of elements respectively attached onto a main surface of the side edge of each of the fastener tapes, and waterproof coated films made of polyester resin respectively formed on a main surface of each of the fastener tapes. An outer surface of each of the waterproof coated films is flat at least at a position where a slider is to pass over, each of the waterproof coated films penetrates into irregularities on the main surface of each of the fastener tapes, a penetration depth of the waterproof coated films into a gap caused by the space of the pair of fastener tapes is not more than thickness of the fastener tapes.

A slide fastener includes first and second rows of slide elements and first and second tapes secured with the respective rows of slide elements. The slide elements of the first row of slide elements are configured to engage with slide elements of the second row of slide elements and each slide element of the first and second rows includes a base, a head, a neck extending between the base and the head, a top surface, a facing surface, and one or more shoulders. A first vertical distance between a lowermost surface of the head and the first end of the first tape is greater than a second vertical distance between a lowermost surface of the base and the first end of the first tape.

A slide fastener includes first and second rows of slide elements and first and second tapes secured with the respective rows of slide elements. The present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing a watertight zipper for solving the problem of production difficulties. A method for manufacturing a watertight zipper according to the present disclosure includes: forming a waterproof tape by extruding a polymeric material in melted state wrapping around an outer surface of a cloth tape, cutting a side of the waterproof tape that is covered by the thick waterproof layer by laser to form a side surface of the thick waterproof layer in a plane form as an abutting surface, forming a plurality of apertures at the waterproof tape, wherein each of the plurality of apertures extends through the cloth tape and the thick waterproof layer, and forming a plurality of scoops corresponding to the plurality of apertures by injection molding. The waterproof tape includes a thick waterproof layer and a thin waterproof layer both formed by the polymeric material in solidified state. The thick waterproof layer covers a side surface, an upper surface and a lower surface of the cloth tape. The thin waterproof layer connects with the thick waterproof layer. Each of the plurality of scoops spaces from the thin waterproof layer. An end of each of the plurality of scoops extends beyond the abutting surface of the thick waterproof layer.

A slide fastener-attached product has a first element member in which an insert pin portion is attached to a fixing member, a second element member in which a box portion is attached to a fixing member and fastener attached members having a pair of element attaching edge portions in a position facing to each other. The first element member and the second element member have an element holding portion and a component holding portion in which the insert pin portion or the box portion is attached with respect to the length direction of the fixing member, and at least the component holding portion is fixed to the element attaching edge portion of the fastener attached member with a component sewn portion which is formed of sewing threads and pierces the fastener attached member. The invention described herein is the micro-seam hidden zipper. There are two contemplated versions of the Micro-Seam Hidden Zipper: 1) side to side zipper orientation and 2) front to back zipper orientation. The invention in both iterations contains a Zipper Fabric Flap. Although zippers, buttons and spandex have helped to revolutionize the way we wear one-pieces today, their current location on the one-piece does not lend itself as a solution to the disrobing debacle when faced with having to use the bathroom.
