Thin gel gasket and a method of making and using the same

A thin, cured gel gasket is disclosed, including methods of making the thin gel gasket and the use of the thin gel gasket in an aircraft joint. In one embodiment, the thin gel gasket has no skeleton or other structure and is comprised of only a cured polyurethane gel and has a thickness of less than about 12 mill. It is manufactured using a release film that is adapted in a number of ways to make release from the gel prior to use easier. In one method of making and using the thin gel gasket. it is applied to a joint which is subject to compression, in one embodiment, a lap joint of an aircraft fuselage.

CURABLE SILICONE COMPOSITION, RELEASE COATING AGENT COMPRISING SAID COMPOSITION, RELEASE FILM OBTAINED USING SAID RELEASE COATING AGENT, AND LAYERED PRODUCT INCLUDING SAID RELEASE FILM

Provided is a curable silicone composition for a release agent which can release a release film from a silicone adhesive with low release force without reducing the adhesive strength of the silicone adhesive to other substrates upon releasing the release film. A release film or laminate having the small release force of the silicone adhesive is also provided. The curable silicone composition comprises: (A) a mixture of two or more fluoroalkyl group-containing organopolysiloxanes having a fluoroalkyl group and at least two alkenyl groups per molecule, wherein the contents of the fluoroalkyl groups differ from each other, and the two or more fluoroalkyl group-containing organopolysiloxanes are a combination of those which are not completely compatibilized at 25° C. when mixed in the absence of a solvent; (B) an organopolysiloxane having at least three silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule; (C) an effective amount of a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst; and (D) an organic solvent.

ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE COMPOSITION FOR USE IN RELEASE PAPER OR RELEASE FILM

In the present invention, compounding an addition-reaction-curable organopolysiloxane composition with a specific amount of an organopolysiloxane compound that has three or more (meth)acryl groups in the molecule and a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 or greater yields an organopolysiloxane composition for use in a release paper or release film in which addition reactions can occur using a small amount of platinum family metal catalyst, cured films can be formed having a peeling strength approximating levels encountered in the past, and addition-reaction-prompted curing will proceed even on a base material containing a catalyst-poisoning component.

COMPOSITIONS AND PROCESSES FOR PROVIDING RELEASE COATINGS

An aqueous composition that can be used to provide a release release properties to adhesive tape substrates can be applied at coating weights far less than those required in previously available compositions containing the same or similar release polymers. Inclusion of small amounts of a superwetter results in improved coatability and reduced amounts of sound generated during the process of releasing an adhesive tape from its roll.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DECORATION FOIL AND RELEASE LAYER AND ADHESIVE LAYER OF DECORATION FOIL, AND DECORATION FOIL MANUFACTURED BY THE SAME

A method of manufacturing decoration foils and a release layer and an adhesive layer of the decoration foil, and decoration foils manufactured by the same are revealed. First take waste containing polyethylene terephthalate (PET) to react with an alcohol and get a first product. Then the first product is allowed to react with a compound containing isocyanate group and polyol to obtain polyurethane (PU) material. The PU material obtained is used for manufacturing at least one of a release layer and an adhesive of decoration foils to get the decoration foil.

Label Assembly and Method for Affixing a Label to a Surface Using the Same

Provided is an adhesive film for a display, in which the adhesive film has a high absorption capacity in a near infrared region and maintains a high transmittance in a visible region, thereby guaranteeing visibility.

Digitally printed heat transfer label

A digitally printed heat transfer label and method of manufacture is disclosed. The heat transfer label and method of manufacture provides a more efficient process with less waste, as well as prevents halos. The method comprises adding adhesive powder to a digital image printed on a substrate to produce a high stretch, multi-color photographic quality label for the apparel industry.

A window module includes a window, a first protective film disposed on a first surface of the window, and a second protective film disposed on a second surface opposite to the first surface of the window. A first release force of the first protective film with respect to the window is greater than a second release force of the second protective film with respect to the window.

Thermal interface materials with thin film or metallization

According to various aspects, exemplary embodiments are provided of thermal interface material assemblies. In one exemplary embodiment, a thermal interface material assembly generally includes a thermal interface material having a first side and a second side and a dry material having a thickness of about 0.0001 inches or less. The dry material is disposed along at least a portion of the first side of the thermal interface material.
