BIOBASED, ECO-FRIENDLY HOTMELT ADHESIVE
The invention describes an eco-friendly hotmelt adhesive based on renewable raw materials. The hotmelt adhesive formulation is made up of biobased polyesters, specifically a combination of polylactide and polybutylene succinate, and also of resins, plasticizers and stabilizers; further additives may optionally be added as well, for example waxes, fumed silica, lime or color pigments. The raw materials used are sustainable, biodegradable and unhazardous to nature. The adhesive exhibits very good adhesion to wood, paper, cardboard and certain, predominantly non-polar plastics such as PMMA, ABS, PC, PLA or PET and can be applied with the commonplace systems.
Glitter Glue Stick and Its Preparation Method
A glitter glue stick and its preparation method. The glitter glue stick comprises the components with the following weight percentage content: 20%60% deionized water, 3%20% propylene glycol, 10%40% glycerin, 15%30% adhesive, 0%1% defoamer, 1%10% excipient, 0.5% 2% caustic soda, 0.1%0.5% preservative, 0%0.3% pigment and 1% 10% glitter; the PH value of the glitter glue stick prepared by the present invention is 10.0 to 11.0. After gluing on the paper, the glitter powder can be uniformly and densely distributed on the gluing surface, displaying different colors and glitter effects. The drying time is controllable, and it has a strong adhesive force after completely drying.
Glue stick composition
A water based glue stick composition includes adhesive and nanocrystalline cellulose. The composition is contained in a glue stick that can be used for planar joining of substrates to one another. The substrates can include paper and/or cardboard such as printer paper, photo paper and cardboard paper.
Dimensionally stable, wipe-on, semi-crystalline-polyester-based adhesive compound
The present invention relates to a dimensionally stable adhesive compound which is formulated so as to be largely water- and solvent-free and can be brought into contact with the substrate to be bonded by being wiped on in the form of a thin adhesive film that is suitable in particular for bonding materials obtained from plant fibers. The organic constituent of the adhesive compound according to the invention consists predominantly of polyester polyurethanes, at least some of which are based on semi-crystalline polyester polyols. The invention also relates to a method for applying a tacky film to a planar substrate, preferably to paper, by wiping the adhesive compound onto the point of contact with the substrate.
Adhesive compositions for anchoring fasteners
An ultraviolet-curable (UV-curable) adhesive composition is disclosed. The adhesive composition comprises: A) an epoxy curing agent component; B) a microencapsulated epoxy resin component; C) an expansion agent component; D) a binder component; and E) a photoinitiator component. The adhesive composition is useful for forming an adhesive. In various embodiments, the adhesive composition is in the form of a stick. The adhesive composition is useful for securing a fastener (e.g. in a borehole).
