A slider garage includes an overmolded body, the overmolded body oriented on a zipper, the overmolded body including an overmolded male portion and an overmolded female portion, the overmolded male and female portions positioned on an end of the zipper, such that each is on one side of the zipper, the overmolded male portion being shaped such that it fits in the overmolded female portion in a watertight fashion. Optionally, the zipper includes a male side and a female side, and the overmolded male portion is positioned on the male side of the zipper and the overmolded female portion is positioned on the female side of the zipper.

A slider for a waterproof slide fastener includes an upper blade and a lower blade opposing each other in an up-down direction, and a connecting post connecting the upper blade with the lower blade. Each of opposing surfaces includes a close-contact surface for sandwiching and close-contacting with a first stop in the up-down direction. At least one of the opposing surfaces includes right and left inclined surfaces provided respectively on right and left sides at a front sides of the close-contact surface and inclined in a direction widening a gap between the upper blade and the lower blade as the right and left inclined surfaces go forward. The at least one of the opposing surfaces includes an extended close-contact surface provided between the right and left inclined surfaces and extending forward from the close-contact surface.
Watertight zipper
A watertight zipper includes two zipper tapes each including: a base tape; zipper teeth arranged on the base tape, the zipper teeth on the two zipper tapes being matched with each other and capable of being engaged with each other to pull the two zipper tapes together; a first waterproof body extending to an inner side of the zipper tape, wherein in response to the two zipper tapes being pulled together, a first inner side surface of the first waterproof body of one of the zipper tapes is fit closely to a second inner side surface of the first waterproof of the other one of the zipper tapes, so that two first waterproof bodies are capable of covering over the zipper teeth together, and fit surfaces of the two first waterproof bodies laterally deviate from an engagement center line of the zipper teeth on the two zipper tapes.

A watertight zipper includes two zipper tapes each including: a base tape; zipper teeth arranged on the base tape, the zipper teeth on the two zipper tapes being matched with each other and capable of being engaged with each other to pull the two zipper tapes together; a first waterproof body extending to an inner side of the zipper tape, wherein in response to the two zipper tapes being pulled together, a first inner side surface of the first waterproof body of one of the zipper tapes is fit closely to a second inner side surface of the first waterproof of the other one of the zipper tapes, so that two first waterproof bodies are capable of covering over the zipper teeth together, and fit surfaces of the two first waterproof bodies laterally deviate from an engagement center line of the zipper teeth on the two zipper tapes.

A slide fastener tape member includes a tape body and a core string portion disposed at a tape side edge portion of the tape body along a length direction. The core string portion is formed by fixing a string member at the tape side edge portion along the length direction by machine sewing. The string member is fixed linearly such that at least one thread used for machine sewing crosses while contacting an outer peripheral surface of the string member without being pierced by a needle thread of machine sewing. Thus, since the core string portion can be easily provided by fixing the string member to the tape body having desired properties at a later stage, the value-added tape members can be easily manufactured at a relatively low cost.

A thermal plastic elastomer injection mold comprises: a mold base, formed with a platform having a top surface thereof formed with an arc-shaped surface adhered with a pair of support-tapes of a slide fastener and formed with an elongated arc-shaped ridge having a wedge-shaped tip thereby being able to be stably moved into a gap between the pair of support-tapes and a surface of the arc-shaped ridge is formed with a thermal plastic elastomer injection port connected to at least one extruder; and a thermal plastic elastomer, extruded out from the at least one extruder and passing the thermal plastic elastomer injection port so as to be injected into the gap and slits inside two rows of coupling elements disposed at inner edges of the pair of support-tapes, wherein the slide fastener is formed with a water impervious structure after the thermal plastic elastomer inside the gap is cut.
