The invention relates to an adhesive composition comprising at least one latex and at least one polymer composition having a glass transition temperature ranging from 50 C. to 0 C., said adhesive composition being particularly suitable for bonding flexible surface coverings having a high dimensional variability. The invention also relates to a membrane obtained after drying of the adhesive composition according to the invention, a combination of a flexible surface covering with an adhesive composition according to the invention, a method of application of a flexible surface covering onto a substrate as well as a substrate covered with a peelable adhesive membrane according to the invention.

The present invention relates to a process for electroplating an adhesive composition onto at least one conductive element, in which the conductive element is placed in contact with the adhesive composition comprising: a phosphate salt and a resin based on: a compound A1, compound A1 being chosen from a compound A11 comprising at least two functions, one of these functions being a hydroxymethyl function and the other being an aldehyde function or a hydroxymethyl function, or a compound A12 comprising at least one aldehyde function, or a mixture of a compound A11 and of a compound A12; and a phenol A21. A potential difference is applied between the conductive element and the adhesive composition to coat the conductive element with an adhesive layer.

WATER-BASED ADHESIVES
An adhesive includes a polymeric latex, a penetrant selected from the group consisting of: terpenes, polylimonene, limonene, carvone, a-pinene, citral, dipentene, 1,8-cineole, eucalyptol, citronellol, geraniol, citronellene, terpinen-4-ol, borneol, camphor, guayule resin, and combinations thereof; and a reinforcing filler. The adhesive has a solids content of 35-65% and a pH of 9 to 12. Articles of manufacture, such as tires and air springs incorporate the adhesive to join rubber interfaces. A method of making the adhesive is also is provided.
