ADHESIVE FILM
An adhesive film can include a barrier layer and an adhesive layer. In an embodiment, the barrier layer can have a melting temperature of at least 230 C. and the adhesive layer having a melting temperature of no greater than 200 C. In an embodiment, an article can include the adhesive film bonded to a substrate.
CURVED SLIDE FASTENERS AND RELATED SYSTEMS
Woven and knit substrates having juxtaposed notches with finished edges are disclosed. Such substrates can be used as opposed fastener tapes and fastener elements can be formed, woven, or otherwise added to the opposed fastener tapes in a known fashion. The notched fastener tapes permit the resulting slide fastener to be curved in-plane without buckling either of the opposed the fastener tapes out-of-plane. The finished edges maintain structural integrity of the woven or knit substrates, in stark context to prior art substrates having cut notches. Also disclosed are panelized substrates having curved apertures and incorporating disclosed slide fasteners.
TAPE FOR SLIDE FASTENER AND SLIDE FASTENER
A tape for a slide fastener includes warps and wefts. A yarn count of warps among yarns forming the fastener tape is set to 22-28 dTex. A weave density of the warps is set to 205-231 yarns/inch. A yarn count of wefts among the yarns forming the fastener tape is set to 81-87 dTex. A weave density of the wefts is set to 42-48 yarns/inch. The weft is a multifilament formed by bundling 33-39 monofilaments. According to one embodiment, the yarn count of the warps is set to 25 dTex, the weave density of the warps is set to 210-226 yarns/inch, the yarn count of the weft is set to 84 dTex, the weave density of the wefts is set to 43-46 yarns/inch, and the weft is a multifilament formed by bundling 36 monofilaments.

Knitted fastener stringer, fastener chain, and method for manufacturing knitted fastener stringer
A knitted fastener stringer has a chain stich yarn disposed on the innermost edge wale furthest from the tape body portion of an element attaching portion is the thickest of all the chain stich yarns used in a fastener tape. This enables a distance of a gap formed between left and right fastener tapes to be smaller when a slide fastener is formed by two knitted fastener stringers.
Fastener tape, slide fastener, skin product, and method of forming fastener tape
A fastener tape, a slide fastener, a skin product, and a method of forming the fastener tape are provided. The method includes forming fabric tapes made from high-melting warp yarns and weft yarns. The fabric tapes each include an outer connecting portion and an inner connecting portion. Fastener teeth are sewn to an outer side of the inner connecting portion through a sewing thread. The inner connecting portion includes an teeth sewing region. A low-melting component is provided in at least the teeth sewing region, and the low-melting component thermally welds the high-melting sewing thread, warp yarns, and weft yarns to form a hardened structure. The method further includes heating, after the fastener teeth are sewn to the fabric tapes, the fabric tapes for bending and shaping, such that the low-melting component thermally welds the sewing thread, the warp yarns, and the weft yarns.

Zipper closure facilitator assembly for articles of apparel
A zipper closure facilitator assembly for use with articles of apparel to permit a user person with limited arm reach and movement, such has with old age or incapacitated persons, or anyone, ease of access to the slider of the zipper closure. One of the twin bands to which complimentary zipper teeth are secured, has a free short bottom section which is not sewn to the article of apparel but removably attached thereto by magnetic attraction for ease of access to the slider. Closure facilitators using superimposed magnetic strips provides ease of engagement and removal of articles of footwear.
Watertight Slide Fastener
A watertight slide fastener includes two tapes each having a waterproof layer. Each of the two tapes includes an inner edge on which a plurality of consecutively disposed scoops and an upper stopper scoop made of a rigid plastic are mounted. A first end of each upper stopper scoop is contiguous to the last one of the plurality of scoops. A second end of each upper stopper scoop has an extension. A top end stop is formed on upper and lower faces of each of the two tapes by an elastomer and envelops an upper face and a lower face of each extension. Each of two outer sides of the top end stop has a shoulder. A slider includes an upper body and a lower body interconnected to the upper body by a diamond. Each of two sides of the upper and lower bodies has a flange.
