Aqueous adhesive for tennis ball
The aqueous adhesive for a tennis ball includes rubber latex. The rubber latex is a mixture of liquid rubber latex and solid rubber latex. When a solid content in the aqueous adhesive is measured at a temperature of 140? C. by a curelastometer, a torque is not less than 0.26 N.Math.m after 10 minutes from start of heating. The tennis ball includes a seam portion formed of the aqueous adhesive for a tennis ball.

Synthetic polyisoprene latex
A synthetic polyisoprene latex containing synthetic polyisoprene, wherein the synthetic polyisoprene constituting the synthetic polyisoprene latex includes a low-molecular weight synthetic isoprene chain having a molecular weight of less than 1,000,000 at a content rate of 10 to 70% by weight and a high-molecular weight synthetic isoprene chain having a molecular weight of 1,000,000 or more at a content rate of 30 to 90% by weight. Also, a method for producing the synthetic polyisoprene latex, wherein the synthetic polyisoprene containing the low-molecular weight synthetic isoprene chain and the high-molecular weight synthetic isoprene chain is obtained by polymerizing a monomer containing isoprene in an organic solvent by use of an organic alkali metal catalyst.

Aqueous adhesive composition based on polyaldehyde and phloroglucinol
An aqueous adhesive composition includes: a phenol/aldehyde resin; and an unsaturated elastomer latex. The phenol/aldehyde resin is based on at least: an aromatic polyaldehyde bearing at least two aldehyde functional groups and including at least one aromatic nucleus; and phloroglucinol. The adhesive composition is useable to make a textile material adhere to a crosslinkable rubber composition, and may be used as an advantageous alternative to a formaldehyde-based RFL adhesive.

Tyre for vehicle wheels
Tires for vehicle wheels having reduced environmental impact and the components thereof, in particular reinforcing structural elements such as carcass structures, belt structures, flippers and chafers, include elongated reinforcing elements treated with resorcinol and formaldehyde-free cross-linkable adhesive compositions. The adhesive compositions include at least a) a rubber latex, at least b) an epoxide and at least c) a polyamine with molecular weight higher than 190 Daltons, including at least two amino groups selected from primary NH2 and secondary NH amino groups. In the structural element, these compositions confer an adhesion between cords and compounds that is comparable to, if not better than, the traditional RFL system in use in this sector. Furthermore, by suitably modifying the compound compositions in the reinforced structural elements and, possibly, also in the other elastomeric components of the tire, it is possible to manufacture tires while avoiding the use of toxic chemicals, such, as resorcinol and formaldehyde.
