A pressure sensitive adhesive composition containing: a (meth)acrylic ester polymer (A) including an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer (a1) and a reactive functional group-containing monomer (b) as monomer units that constitute the polymer; and an inorganic filler (C), wherein the carbon number of an alkyl group in the alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer (a1) is 6 or more and the alkyl group is linear. In the pressure sensitive adhesive composition, the inorganic filler can be uniformly dispersed in a short time even when a dispersant is not contained.

Described herein is a waterborne emulsion, a method for making the waterborne emulsion, and an application of the waterborne emulsion as a binder for inks. The waterborne emulsion includes an acidic polymer stabilizer and a base polymer. The ink made using the waterborne emulsion shows excellent alcohol tolerance and wet wrinkle resistance.

In one embodiment, an adhesive composition is provided comprising a reaction product of a polyacid selected from the group consisting of an aromatic polyacid, an aliphatic polyacid, an aliphatic polyacid with an aromatic group, and combinations thereof, or a diglycidyl ether; and a polyamine; and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of a branched aliphatic acid, a cyclic aliphatic acid with a cyclic aliphatic group, a linear aliphatic, and combinations thereof. The adhesive composition may be used to cover a substrate.
