Urethane adhesive cord treatment for power transmission belt and belt
A belt with a tensile cord embedded in an elastomeric body, having an adhesive composition impregnating the cord and coating the fibers. The adhesive composition is the reaction product of a polyisocyanate and a polyol, or a polyurethane prepolymer derived therefrom, and a polyamine curative and optionally additional polyol, and with optionally added plasticizer. At least one of the polyisocyanate, the prepolymer, and the polyamine are blocked with a blocking agent. The belt body may be of cast polyurethane, vulcanized rubber, or thermoplastic elastomer. The cord may have an adhesive overcoat.
ADHESIVE AGENT, LAMINATE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LAMINATE, AND PACKAGING MATERIAL
Provided are a two-component curable adhesive which can be aged at room temperature and has favorable adhesiveness to various base materials, a laminate in which the adhesiveness between a base material and an adhesive is excellent even when aged at room temperature, and a packaging material including the laminate. The two-component curable adhesive includes a polyisocyanate composition (X) including a polyisocyanate compound (A) and a polyol composition (Y) including a polyol (B), in which a viscosity of the polyol composition at 50° C. is 20 mPa.Math.s or more and 180 mPa.Math.s or less.
Composition for a polishing pad, polishing pad, and process for preparing the same
In the composition according to the embodiment, the content of an unreacted diisocyanate monomer in a urethane-based prepolymer may be controlled to control the physical properties thereof such as gelation time. Thus, since the micropore characteristics, polishing rate, and pad cut rate of a polishing pad obtained by curing the composition according to the embodiment may be controlled, it is possible to efficiently manufacture high-quality semiconductor devices using the polishing pad.
METHOD FOR PREPARING POLYHYDROXYURETHANE, POLYHYDROXYURETHANE PREPARED USING THE METHOD AND PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPRISING THE POLYHYDROXYURETHANE
Provided are a method for preparing polyhydroxyurethane, polyhydroxyurethane prepared using the method and a pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising the polyhydroxyurethane. According to the present disclosure, it is possible to prepare polyhydroxyurethane in an eco-friendly manner using vegetable oil-derived dimer acid and carbon dioxide and to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive including the polyhydroxyurethane.
Uses of microbial derived materials in polymer applications
This disclosure provides methods for the chemical modification of microbial derived triglyceride oils, use thereof in polyurethane chemistries, and incorporation thereof as a core material alone or as part of a wood core composite in the production of sporting goods equipment, including, for example, alpine skis, touring skis, cross country skis, approach skis, split boards, snowboards, and water skis.
THERMOPLASTIC FILM AND THE MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A thermoplastic film composed of a single-layer of thermally fuse film. The single-layer of thermally fuse film has a melting point of 50° C.-160° C. and a Shore hardness ranges from 40 A-80 A. The present invention also provides another thermoplastic film, which has a multi-layer structure and the multi-layer structure from bottom to top, there are first thermally fuse film, second thermal fuse and third thermally fuse film. The thickness ratio of the first thermally fuse film, the second thermally fuse film and the third thermally fuse film is 1:1-2:1, in which the thermally fuse film, the first thermally fuse film, the second thermally fuse film, and the third thermally fuse film are thermoplastic polyurethane respectively, and thermoplastic polyurethane contains aromatic functional group or with aliphatic functional group.
AN AQUEOUS TWO-COMPONENT ADHESIVE
The invention relates to an aqueous two-component adhesive and use thereof, in particular to the use for laminating a rigid substrate and a plastic film, a laminated product comprising the adhesive, and a method for producing a laminated product. The aqueous two-component adhesive comprises component A and component B, the component A comprising more than 50% by weight and not more than 99% by weight of an aqueous polyurethane dispersion; the B component comprising 1% by weight to 16% by weight of water-dispersible modified polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate, the above weight percentage based on the amount of the adhesive being 100% by weight; wherein the aqueous polyurethane dispersion comprises polyurethane dispersed therein, the enthalpy of melting of the polyurethane being 26 to 100 J/g, preferably 30 to 100 J/g, particularly preferably 30 to 60 J/g, measured at 20° C. to 100° C. for the first heating curve by DSC according to DIN65467 (1999). The aqueous two-component adhesive has the advantages of safety and environmental protection, excellent performance and low laminating temperature.
