Multilayer polyurethane protective films
A multilayer protective film comprising a first layer, a second layer and a PSA layer. The first layer at least comprises a polyester-based polyurethane, a polycarbonate-based polyurethane or a combination or blend of both. The second layer at least comprises a polycaprolactone-based thermoplastic polyurethane. The PSA layer comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive. One major surface of the first layer is bonded to one major surface of the second layer, and the PSA layer is bonded to an opposite major surface of the second layer such that the second layer is sandwiched between the first layer and the PSA layer.
Polymeric sheet useful for application to concave surface topographies of articles and related methods
Polymeric sheets of the invention comprise sequential layers as follows: a topcoat layer, a polyurethane-based carrier layer, and an adhesive layer. The polyurethane-based carrier layer is formed using essentially no chain extender having a molecular weight of 350 grams/mole or less, resulting in a relatively low storage modulus polymeric sheet. Such polymeric sheets are particularly useful for application to surfaces having a concave topography.

Polylactic acid film or sheet having tear strength so as not to break or tear during, for example, production or processing of the film or sheet or winding thereof into a roll, and causing neither melt nor deformation at high temperatures more than 100 C. In the polylactic acid film or sheet, the tear strength is not less than 100 N/mm when the film or sheet is torn at least in a flow direction (MD), a rate of dimensional change due to heating is not more than 3% in the flow direction (MD) and a transverse direction (TD), and a rate of dimensional change due to loaded heating is not more than 3% in the flow direction (MD).

C. to 30? C.; (b) an allophanate polyisocyanate and/or a biuret polyisocyanate; and (c) a polysiloxane comprising a hydroxyl group-containing hydrocarbon group and/or polymer.
FILMS COMPRISING ALIPHATIC THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANES AND POLYVINYL ACETALS USEFUL AS PAINT PROTECTION FILMS
Thermoplastic films are disclosed that are suitable for use as paint protection films. The films include a thermoplastic polymer layer comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane polymer and a polyvinyl acetal polymer. The films further comprise an adhesive layer. The thermoplastic films, when tested by ASTM D-412, exhibit a stress at 5% strain of no greater than 200 psi.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE TAPE INCLUDING SULFUR AND RELATED PROCESSES
The tape includes a backing and a pressure-sensitive adhesive applied from an aqueous dispersion on the backing. The pressure-sensitive adhesive includes an at least partially crosslinked elastomer, a tackifying resin, and sulfur. A process for making the tape includes applying an aqueous dispersion of an elastomer, the tackifying resin, and the sulfur to the backing and drying the aqueous dispersion to provide the pressure-sensitive adhesive on the backing. A process of using the tape includes applying the tape to a surface and exposing the surface to a temperature of at least 150? C.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device is provided. The display device includes a cover window having a display area and a non-display area surrounding the display area, an adhesive layer in direct contact with a lower part of the cover window, a print layer disposed under the adhesive layer and including a plurality of layers, and a delamination reduction layer disposed under the print layer. In the delamination reduction layer, an opposite surface of one surface in contact with the print layer has a higher surface energy than a lowermost layer among the plurality of layers of the print layer.

The invention relates to an adhesive compound containing a multi-armed vinyl aromatic block copolymer, one or more adhesive resins, and one or more auxiliary crosslinking agents. The invention also relates to an adhesive means comprising said adhesive compound and a carrier material and/or a cover. The invention also relates to a method for producing such an adhesive means. Compared to adhesive systems known up until now, such an adhesive means demonstrates clearly improved adhesion to hard, non-polar surfaces such as, for example, novel coated surfaces in the automotive industry.

A multilayer film includes a protective layer, a color layer and an adhesive layer, with a molding film disposed between either of the adjoining pairs of layers or on an opposite surface of the protective layer to the color layer, wherein the protective layer contains a polyurethane resin (U) formed at least from an active hydrogen component (A) and an organic isocyanate component (B) and having a polycarbonate skeleton with an alicyclic hydrocarbon group and conditions (1) and/or (2) are satisfied: (1): the polyurethane resin (U) is a polyurethane resin (U1) having an alkoxysilyl and/or a silanol group in a molecule, (2): the protective layer contains a compound (X) having a glycidyl ether and an alkoxysilyl and/or a silanol group, and the polyurethane resin (U) is a polyurethane resin (U2) having an amino group or a carboxyl group and/or a salt thereof.
