The present invention relates to a planar sealing element (1) for application to a substrate (2), comprising a carrier layer (3) and several functional layers (4), the functional layers (4) comprising at least one colour display layer (5) and an adhesion-controlling layer (6), the sealing element (1) furthermore comprising an adhesive layer (8) for attachment to the substrate (2), the functional layers (4) being arranged between the carrier layer (3) and the adhesive layer (8), wherein the carrier layer (3) is at least partially detachable from the functional layers (4) in order to bring the sealing element (1) from a first state (9) to a second state (10), with the second state (10) not being convertible into the first state (9), the sealing element (1) in the second state (10) comprising a peeled-off layer (11), comprising at least the at least partially detached carrier layer (3), and a residue (12), comprising at least the adhesive layer (8) and at least parts of the at least one colour display layer (5), the carrier layer (3) being made of paper, wherein it is envisaged, according to the invention, that the carrier layer (3) is translucent so that the peeled-off layer (11), in at least one area when the peeled-off layer (11) is arranged congruently on the residue (12), has a different colour impression than the same area of the carrier layer (3) in the first state (9) in a viewing direction toward the carrier layer (3).

SECURITY ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

A security element for documents of value or the like, has a substrate which has been coated with a heat-sealing adhesive that is non-tacky at room temperature and suitable for applying the security element to a substrate of a document of value. The heat-sealing adhesive contains a radiation-crosslinkable component and a reactive diluent.

ADHESIVE ELEMENT

An adhesive element comprises a carrier substrate and an adhesive layer arranged on the carrier substrate. The adhesive element comprises at least one recycled material, and/or at least one material made of renewable raw materials, and/or at least one biologically degradable and/or marine-degradable material.

Peel-off detection label

The invention relates to a peel detection label that is a laminate including a support, a pattern layer formed in a part of the surface of the support, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive laminate having at least a low modulus layer (X), a high modulus layer (Y) and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (Z) in that order, in which the low modulus layer (X has a surface in contact with the support and the pattern layer and a surface in contact with the high modulus layer (Y), and satisfies the following requirement (1): Requirement (1): when the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (Z) of the peel detection label is attached to an adherend and then the peel detection label is peeled off from the adherend, the maximum vertical tensile stress applied to an element of the low modulus layer (X) that is located closest to the support is 0.19 MPa or more when analyzed by a finite element method using Abaqus.

PERMANENT SECURITY FILM WITH HIGH TRANSPARENCY AND WITHOUT PREDETERMINED BREAKING POINTS

The present invention relates to peelproof security films made from a poly(meth)acrylate, more particularly from a polymethyl methacrylate, which comprises at most 10 wt % of or no impact modifiers. These films are highly transparent, have good printability qualities, and can be applied without intended break points. The peelproof security films can therefore find use in particular in documents, such as passports, for example, in security labels, such as road tax badges, for example, or for product theft prevention, or as price tags. These security labels are further distinguished by good weathering stability and in particular by especially good UV stability.

The present invention relates more particularly to the use of these security labels, which have a thickness of not more than 2 mm, comprise at least 80 wt % of polymethyl methacrylate and contain no impact modification particles.

Tamper evident labels

The present invention includes laminates and a tamper indication system. In some embodiments, the laminate and the tamper indication system may change color to indicate exposure of the laminate to an acrylic-based adhesive.
