An object of the present invention is to provide a protein adhesive containing a protein, a joined body, and a method for producing the same. The protein adhesive of the present invention contains a protein of 50 KDa or less. The joined body of one embodiment is a joined body including a first object, a second object, and an adhesive layer interposed between the first object and the second object, in which the first object and the second object are joined by the adhesive layer, and the adhesive layer is an adhesive layer formed of a protein adhesive containing a protein of 50 KDa or less.

A composite membrane comprising (i) a polymeric membrane panel, said panel having first and second planar surfaces; (ii) a cross-linked adhesive layer disposed on said first planar surface of said polymeric membrane panel, said cross-linked adhesive layer having first and second planar surfaces, where said first planar surface of said cross-linked adhesive layer is in contact with said first planar surface of said polymeric membrane panel; and (iii) an optional release member disposed on said second planar surface of said cross-linked adhesive layer, where said polymeric membrane panel includes a functionalized polymer at said second planar surface.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET
Provided is a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) sheet including a PSA layer that exhibits improved water resistance. The PSA sheet provided by the present invention includes a PSA layer formed from a water-dispersed PSA composition containing an acrylic polymer as a base polymer, a water-dispersed tackifier resin, and at least any one type of Na ions and K ions. The total amount of Na ions and K ions in the PSA sheet is 0.3 part by weight or more to 0.8 part by weight or less per 100 parts by weight of the PSA sheet.

The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition including a compound having a substituent represented by the general formula (1) described in the specification, in which when each of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 in the substituent represented by the general formula (1) represents a hydrogen atom, a distance between an oxygen atom of —OR.sup.1 and an oxygen atom of —OR.sup.2 is 1.31 Å or more and 4.70 Å or less, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed of the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet comprising the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.
