A method of making a roof assembly includes bringing first and second adhesive beads into contact with a roof panel and a roof stiffener to thereby define a chamber. The first adhesive bead forms a continuous perimeter around a first vacuum aperture in the roof stiffener to thereby define a first vacuum chamber. The second adhesive bead defines a second continuous perimeter around a second vacuum aperture in the roof stiffener to thereby define a second vacuum chamber. A vacuum is created in each of the first and second vacuum chambers. An outer periphery of each of the first and second adhesive beads is in direct fluid communication with the surrounding atmosphere through a perimeter opening of the chamber.

PAD FOR PREVENTING TIRE SKIDDING AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
20220097462 · 2022-03-31 ·

A pad for preventing tire skidding and a manufacturing method thereof, and is to provide a pad for preventing tire skidding and a manufacturing method thereof configured by a friction member formed by mixing a raw material rubber containing butadiene rubber and a functional additive; an adhesive layer coated with an adhesive on one side of the friction member so that the friction member is able to be adhered to a vehicle tire; and a mesh net embedded in the friction member or a mesh net connected to a piezoelectric element. The pad is provided with an adhesive layer coated with an adhesive and can be easily attached and used onto a vehicle tire, and is made of a large amount of butadiene rubber to increase the friction force against the ground.

CAR GLASS PROTECTION FILM HAVING SELF-RESTORATION PERFORMANCE
20220072831 · 2022-03-10 ·

The disclosure relates to a car glass protection film having a self-restoration performance. More specifically, the film comprises: a substrate layer; a urethane coating layer formed on one surface of the substrate layer; a self-restoration layer formed on the upper surface of the urethane coating layer; a protection film layer formed on the upper surface of the self-restoration layer; and an adhesion layer formed on the other surface of the substrate layer. A car glass protection film having the structure described above does not show a separation phenomenon, which may be caused by temperature change, ultraviolet light, and external impact, exhibits excellent impact resistance by the urethane coating layer, and can recover from fine scratches by the self-restoration layer.

Adhesive-Backed Composite Film

Provided is a composite film for attachment to an elastomeric substrate. The composite film comprises the following layers, in the order below: an elastomeric layer comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane; an ink layer; and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer comprising a styrenic block copolymer blended with a phenolic resin. Advantageously, the provided composite films can withstand harsh outdoor environments and stresses while providing high anchorage to elastomeric substrates, such as car tires, for a long service life.

A conductive adhesive sheet includes a first adhesive agent layer, a second adhesive agent layer, and a third layer interposed between the first adhesive agent layer and the second adhesive agent layer, in which the first adhesive agent layer has a storage modulus at 25 degrees C. of less than 2.5×10.sup.5 Pa, the third layer has a storage modulus at 25 degrees C. of 2.5×10.sup.5 Pa or more, and a plurality of conductive linear bodies are arranged to the first adhesive agent layer.

RESIN LAYER, LAMINATING INTERLAYER, LIGHT TRANSMITTING LAMINATE AND VEHICLE
20220063249 · 2022-03-03 · ·

Example embodiments provide a resin layer, a light transmitting laminate, and a vehicle. The resin layer includes at least one laminating layer containing a polyvinyl acetal resin, a plasticizer, and a bonding strength modifier. The surface of the laminating layer includes a portion having a hydrophobicity of 3.5 to 10, as calculated by Equation 1:

Hydrophobicity=Non-polarity/polarity  (1) where the non-polarity represents the non-polar fraction of the surface free energy of the laminating layer and the polarity represents the polar fraction of the surface free energy of the laminating layer.

The resin layer has good shelf moisture resistance, undergoes less change in yellowness index, and has effectively controllable bonding strength due to its controlled hydrophobicity.
