Wireless Sensor Networks Installation, Deployment, Maintenance, and Operation
The present disclosure relates to wireless sensor networks installation, deployment, maintenance, and operation. A distributed network of wireless tags enable a wide variety of different indoor and outdoor applications to be implemented, including asset finding, workflow automation, and internet-of-things applications. The physical premises environment may be any location in which there are persons, places or things to be monitored, tracked, sensed, or inventoried, or other defined space. The distributed network of wireless tags is associated with a wireless client device that enables a customer to configure and retrieve status data, event data, and sensor data from wireless tags and other components in the physical premises environment. Embodiments utilize different types of network nodes to collect data from the physical premises environment. Examples of the types of data that may be collected by the wireless tags include asset status information, event data, and sensor data.

Methods, systems and apparatuses are disclosed for depositing a substantially transparent film coating onto a substantially transparent substrate via atmospheric pressure plasma deposition techniques and apparatuses.
METHOD FOR MITIGATING PASSIVE INTERMODULATION
Materials and methods for mitigating passive intermodulation. A membrane for reducing passive intermodulation includes a first polymeric layer, a second polymeric layer, and a continuous metal layer encapsulated between the first and second polymeric layers. A self-adhesive radio frequency barrier tape includes a waterproof polymeric top layer, a metal-containing layer adhered by an adhesive layer to the polymeric top layer, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer adhered to the metal-containing layer, and a release liner on a bottom surface of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer. A method of mitigating passive intermodulation includes passing a probe over an area of interest, the probe being sensitive to an intermodulation frequency of interest, and identifying a suspected source of passive intermodulation when the amplitude of the probe output exceeds a threshold at the frequency of interest. The method further includes covering the suspected passive intermodulation source with a radio frequency barrier material.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR FORMING A COMPOUND FILM, AND APPARATUS HAVING A COMPOUND FILM
This disclosure describes devices, systems, and methods related to a compound film. An exemplary compound film includes a first layer including a first polymer composition including polyurethane and a second layer including a second polymer composition removably coupled to the first layer. The compound film further includes light switchable adhesive coupled to the second layer and configured to transition from a first state to a second state, the light switchable adhesive has a first peel strength in the first state that is greater than a second peel strength of the light switchable adhesive in the second state. A third peel strength between the first layer and the second layer is less than the second peel strength between the light switchable adhesive in the first state and a bond site.
Self adhesive fouling release coating composition
A multilayer self-adhesive fouling release coating composition includes an optional removable underlying liner; an adhesive layer applied over and to the optional underlying liner when the latter is present; and a synthetic material layer applied over and to the adhesive layer. Optionally, an intermediate silicone tie coat is applied over and to the synthetic material layer. A silicone fouling release top coat is applied over and to the synthetic material layer, or, when present, over and to the intermediate silicone tie coat. Optionally, a removable polymeric film is applied over and to the fouling release top coat.
Roll-to-roll method of fabricating a wireless multi-layer laminate
A low-cost, multi-function tracking system with a form factor that unobtrusively integrates the components needed to implement a combination of different localization techniques and also is able to perform a useful ancillary function that otherwise would have to be performed with the attendant need for additional materials, labor, and expense. An example tracking system is implemented as an adhesive product that integrates tracking components within a flexible adhesive structure in a way that not only provides a cost-effective platform for interconnecting, optimizing, and protecting the components of the tracking system but also maintains the flexibility needed to function as an adhesive product that can be deployed seamlessly and unobtrusively into various tracking applications and workflows, including person and object tracking applications, and asset management workflows such as manufacturing, storage, shipping, delivery, and other logistics associated with moving products and other physical objects.
METHOD FOR FORMING AN ARTICLE COMPRISING A PATHWAY OF PARTICLES WHEREIN A TERMINATION OF THE PATHWAY OF PARTICLES EXPOSED
The invention relates to a method for forming an article comprising a pathway of particles wherein a termination of the pathway of particles is exposed. The method comprises arranging the particles by applying an electric field and/or a magnetic field at an interface between a water soluble or a non-water soluble matrix and a matrix comprising a viscous material and particles. After fixating the viscous material, the termination is exposed by dissolving the water soluble or non-water soluble matrix. The invention also relates to articles obtainable by said method, and to the use of said method in various applications.
Wireless Communications And Transducer Based Event Detection Platform
A low-cost, multi-function adhesive wireless communications and transducer platform with a form factor that unobtrusively integrates one or more transducers and one or more wireless communication devices in an adhesive product system. In an aspect, the adhesive product system integrates transducer and wireless communication components within a flexible adhesive structure in a way that not only provides a cost-effective platform for interconnecting, optimizing, and protecting the constituent components but also maintains the flexibility needed to function as an adhesive product that can be deployed seamlessly and unobtrusively into various applications and workflows, including sensing, notification, security, and object tracking applications, and asset management workflows such as manufacturing, storage, shipping, delivery, and other logistics associated with moving products and other physical objects.
HIGH STRENGTH CYANOACRYLATE-BASED TAPES
The present invention relates to a curable composition comprising a curable cyanoacrylate component and at least one thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) component. The compositions of the invention are non-flowable at room temperature (25° C.) and are suitable for use as adhesive compositions, for example in a tape form.
Hierarchical combination of distributed statistics in a monitoring network
Methods, systems, and computer program products for creating a monitoring network are described. A server associates a master wireless node with a package in a first set of associated packages. The server and the master wireless node communicate with one another over first type of wireless communications interface. The server also associates a peripheral wireless node with another package in the set and with the master node. The peripheral wireless node and the master wireless node communicate with one another over a second type of wireless communications interface. The peripheral node includes a sensor operative to generate sensor data by sensing an environmental condition. The master wireless node processes the sensor data to generate one or more package-level statistics of the processed sensor data.
