FLEXIBLE ADHESIVE TAPE FOR COOLING BEVERAGES, PIPES AND OTHER ARTICLES
A cooling tape and cooling pad. In a most general embodiment, the inventive tape includes a first layer of thermally conductive material; a second layer of thermal insulation; and a third layer of endothermic material, sandwiched between the first and second layers. The third layer is constructed with reactants effective to cause an endothermic chemical reaction. In a first embodiment, the invention provides a beverage cooling device. In a second embodiment, the invention provides a pipe cooling/freezing device. The cooling pad is implemented with a first layer of thermally conductive material; a second layer of material; and a third layer of endothermic material, sandwiched between the first and second layers. In the illustrative embodiment, the third layer has a contour effective to create suction whereby the pad adheres to a surface to be cooled.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS AND RELATED METHODS
Adhesive compositions and patches, and associated systems, kits, and methods, are generally described. Certain of the adhesive compositions and patches can be used to treat tissues (e.g., in hemostatic or other tissue treatment applications), according to certain embodiments.
Adhesive system with highly reactive pretreatment agent
An adhesive system, having an adhesion promoter composition, containing at least one mercaptosilane, at least one polysilane, at least one transition metal complex having substantially only monodentate ligands, and at least one non-alcoholic solvent, and an adhesive, wherein the adhesive, within an hour after application and storage at 23 C. and 50% relative air humidity, has a tensile shear strength of at least 3 MPa, as measured according to ISO 4587, and/or, within an hour after application and storage at 23 C. and 50% relative air humidity, has at least 50%, preferably at least 60%, of the tensile shear strength achievable after application and storage for 7 days at 23 C. and 50% relative air humidity, as measured according to ISO 4587. An adhesion promoter system has a liquid container having a manually actuable output apparatus, and an adhesion promoter composition, as disclosed above.

HOT-MELT PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET
Provided is a hot-melt PSA composition having a low viscosity when melted with heat and capable of suitably forming a PSA layer. A hot-melt PSA composition comprising a base polymer is provided. The base polymer comprises acrylic polymers A and B. The acrylic polymer A is a polymer of monomers comprising, as the primary component, a (meth)acrylic monomer A having an alkyl group with 4 to 8 carbon atoms. The acrylic polymer B is a polymer of monomers comprising, as a primary component, a (meth)acrylic monomer B having an alkyl group with 9 to 12 carbon atoms. In the base polymer, with the total amount of the acrylic polymers A and B being 100% by weight, the acrylic polymer B content is 10% by weight or more and 90% by weight or less.
ADHESIVE COATING COMPOSITION FOR ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET, ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET LAMINATE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The present disclosure relates to a bonding composition for an electrical steel sheet, and a steel sheet and a laminate employing same, wherein the bonding composition for an electrical steel sheet may comprise an adhesive resin and a bonding additive, the adhesive resin may be polyurethane, and the bonding additive may comprise a coupling agent including an amino silane.
COMPOSITE MATERIALS AND METHODS FOR INHIBITING RODENT INGRESS
Composite materials are provided for sealing openings, gaps or holes in walls and other barriers. The composite materials are particularly useful for providing a durable seal across such holes to prevent rodent ingress therethrough. The composite material comprises a wire mesh layer, an adhesive and an outer protective layer. The wire mesh layer is resistant to rodent's chewing to thwart the rodent from chewing through the material. The protective layer provides an aesthetic outer layer that covers the sticky adhesive layer and provides a surface for handling the tape. The adhesive serves to both bond the protective layer to the wire mesh and to provide an opposing sticky surface for adhering the composite material to the target area on a wall, partition, door, roof, or other barrier.
HIGH MODULUS, TOUGHENED ONE-COMPONENT EPOXY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVES WITH HIGH ASPECT RATIO FILLERS
One-component toughened epoxy structural adhesives contain fibrous mineral fillers that have an aspect ratio of ?6. The presence of the fibrous filler leads to a significant increase in elastic modulus while having little if any adverse effect on other properties such as dynamic impact peel resistance.
DIMENSIONALLY STABLE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION CONTAINING ENZYMATICALLY MODIFIED STARCH
The present invention relates to a dimensionally stable adhesive composition comprising enzymatically modified starch, and to the use of the adhesive composition as a glue stick.
RELEASE LAYER FOR METAL FOIL WITH CARRIER AND METAL FOIL COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a release layer for a metal foil with carrier and a metal foil with carrier including the release layer. The release layer is designed for easy removal of the carrier and includes one or more nitrogenous heterocyclic compounds and one or more inorganic compounds containing at least one metal selected from the group consisting of nickel, molybdenum, cobalt, phosphorus, manganese, and iron.
