A pressure sensitive adhesive article is described comprising a pressure sensitive adhesive in contact with the release layer. The release layer comprises a thermoplastic polymer and a block copolymer additive having the general structure: A[LB]n wherein A is a polyorganosiloxane block, L is a covalent bond or a divalent linking group B is independently a C16-C70 alkyl group, and n is at least 1. In other embodiments, compositions are described comprising a thermoplastic polymer the described block copolymer additive; as well as methods of making a release composition.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a storage state in which a reactive compound layer can be stably maintained in a polymer film having a reactive compound layer on the surface. The film roll is obtained by winding together: a first polymer film having a reactive compound layer on the surface, and a second polymer film having a surface roughness (Ra) of 0.1 μm or more and a modulus of elasticity of 300 MPa or more and 10 GPa or less. The film bundle is obtained by laminating the first and second polymer films. Preferably, storing the film roll and the film bundle at a low temperature enables a thin layer of a reactive compound to be stably maintained.

In some examples, the handle cover comprises a bioactive material that can kill or inactivate bioorganisms. The bioactive material can be a photocatalyst and may also comprise one or more transition metals. Methods of using the handle covers and handles to reduce spread of infections are also described.

Upon exposure to laser electromagnetic radiation, the adhesive layer is configured to absorb at least 55% (in some embodiments, at least 60%, 65%, 70%, 75%, 80%, 85%, 90%, 95%, or even 100%) of the laser electromagnetic radiation and the release liner absorbs no greater than 45% (in some embodiments, no greater than 40%, 35%, 30%, 25%, 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%, or even 0%) of the laser electromagnetic radiation.
