DYNAMIC FIT ADJUSTMENT FOR WEARABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Systems and methods for dynamically adjusting the fit of a wearable electronic device are disclosed. In many embodiments, a tensioner associated with a wearable electronic device can control one or more actuators that are mechanically coupled to either the housing or to a band attached to the wearable electronic device. In one example, in response to a signal to increase the tightness of the band, the tensioner can cause the actuator(s) to increase the tension within the band.

ADJUSTABLE LINKAGE AND AN ASSOCIATED WEARABLE ACCESSORY HAVING A PLURALITY OF INTERCONNECTED LINKS WITH TOOLS

A wearable accessory is provided along with an adjustable linkage and a functional element. In regards to the adjustable linkage, the adjustable linkage includes first and second linkage portions spaced apart from one another to define a channel therebetween. Each linkage portion includes a sidewall defining first and second openings. The second opening defined by each linkage portion includes a plurality of holes spaced in a longitudinal direction to provide sizing options. The adjustable linkage also includes fasteners extending through respective holes the second openings defined by the first and second linkage portions so as to rotatably connect a link of the accessory to the first and second linkage portions. The first and second linkage portions are separate components attached to one another by their mutual attachment to the link of the accessory.

A breakaway clasp having two clasp components that can be releasably coupled together to provide a quick release closure mechanism. A first clasp component having a coupling portion and an attachment portion, and an identical second clasp component having a coupling portion and an attachment portion. The attachment portions may be configured to be coupled to a portion of an article, such as a necklace or bracelet, and the coupling portions are configured to releasably couple to each other, thereby forming a closure. Each coupling portion comprising two, identical hemisphere elements and a connecting section that connects the two hemisphere elements. The hemisphere elements and connecting section may define a receiving cavity configured to receive at least a portion of the hemisphere elements of the other clasp component.

BRUNNIAN LINK MAKING DEVICE AND KIT

A Brunnian link is a link formed from a closed loop doubled over itself to capture another closed loop to form a chain. The example kit provides for the successful creation of unique wearable articles using Brunnian link assembly techniques and includes several pin bars that are supported in a desired special orientation by at least one base. The desired special orientation is dependent on the desired linked configuration of the completed article. The pins may be assembled in various combination and orientations to provide endless variation of completed link orientations.

EXPANDABLE BANGLE BRACELET

A bracelet and a method of assembling or manufacturing the same in which the bracelet includes a plurality of interlocking first and second bangles that are translatable relative one another such that the bracelet is transitionable between a first state and second state in which the bracelet has a diameter having a smaller dimension in the first state and a larger diameter in the second state, the bracelet being biased toward the first state.

Belt and wearable device

A belt includes a belt main body extending in a long, narrow band. A frame-shaped body is attached to a first belt portion corresponding to a side on an end in a lengthwise direction of the belt main body. Multiple through-holes are formed in alignment in the lengthwise direction in a second belt portion corresponding to a side opposite to the first belt portion in the lengthwise direction of the belt main body. A locking member is included for attachment to a through-hole of the second belt portion so as to protrude from a front surface of the second belt portion. When the belt main body is mounted on the target object, the second belt portion is passed through the frame-shaped body, and the side of the frame-shaped body locks the locking member so as to prevent the second belt portion from coming out of the frame-shaped body.

CLASP FOR JEWELRY CHAIN

The present discloses a clasp for jewelry chain, which comprises a housing combined by a first cover body and a second, a chain placing portion, chain length adjusting portions, and securing and adjusting structure that is specially designed for securing the jewelry chain and adjusting the length of the jewelry chain randomly in the clasp. After the chain is arranged in the chain placing portion and traverses through the chain length adjusting portions, the chain can be secured by the clasp and the length and tightness of the chain can be adjusted under the action of an external force. The structure of the clasp of jewelry chain of the present invention breaks through a conventional technology, which can satisfy various demands of different consumers.

Woven band with different stretch regions

A wearable band includes a woven material having two or more stretch regions. The different stretch regions can be formed by varying the tension on subsets of the warp threads, the weft threads, or both the warp and weft threads. A system for producing the woven material can include two or more tension control devices operably connected to a processing device. Each tension control device is configured to adjust the amount of tension in a respective subset of threads (e.g., warp threads) in the woven material during a weaving operation. The processing device is configured to select thread tension patterns for the subsets of threads used during the weaving operation. Each thread tension pattern includes tension settings for the subsets of threads, where at least one tension setting in one thread tension pattern differs from the tension settings in the other tension patterns.
