Provided are an adhesive resin laminate having an excellent adhesive force to two adherends, a laminate in which this adhesive resin laminate is laminated with two adherends, and a method of producing them. An adhesive resin laminate having at least a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer, in which the first adhesive layer includes a base resin and a crosslinking agent, the base resin is a modified polyolefin resin, the crosslinking agent is an epoxy-based compound, the second adhesive layer includes a polyolefin-based resin, and when an adhesion initiation temperature of the first adhesive layer is set to T1, and an adhesion initiation temperature of the second adhesive layer is set to T2, T2 is higher than T1 by 30° C. or more.

Disclosed is a composition that comprises or is produced from a first ethylene α-olefin copolymer, a modified first ethylene α-olefin copolymer, and a second ethylene α-olefin copolymer or propylene α-olefin copolymer. Also disclosed is a multilayer film or sheet structure containing at least one barrier layer; at least one predominantly propylene-based layer, at least one predominantly ethylene-based layer, or both; and at least one adhesive layer produced from the composition. Further disclosed is a produced for producing a multilayer structure using the composition as adhesive layer.
LAMINATE FILM AND PACKAGING BAG USING SAME
A laminate film (30) of the present invention includes a heat sealing layer (10) composed of a resin composition including, with respect to 20 to 95 parts by weight of a propylene-based polymer (A) having a melting point (Tm) of equal to or higher than 120° C. and equal to or lower than 170° C. as measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), a total of 5 to 80 parts by weight of two or more kinds of copolymers selected from the group consisting of a propylene.1-butene copolymer (B) containing a unit derived from propylene in an amount of 51 to 95 mol % and a unit derived from 1-butene in an amount of 5 to 49 mol %, wherein the total of the unit derived from propylene and the unit derived from 1-butene is 100 mol %, a copolymer (C) of ethylene and an α-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, and a copolymer (D) of 1-butene and an α-olefin having 3 carbon atoms or 5 to 20 carbon atoms containing a constitutional unit derived from 1-butene in an amount of 50 to 99 mol % and a constitutional unit derived from an α-olefin having 3 carbon atoms or 5 to 20 carbon atoms in an amount of 1 to 50 mol %, wherein the total of the unit derived from 1-butene and the unit derived from the α-olefin is 100 mol %, wherein each of Component (B), Component (C), and Component (D) does not correspond to Component (A), and the total amount of Component (A), Component (B), Component (C), and Component (D) is 100 parts by weight, and a base layer (20), in which a surface of the heat sealing layer (10) opposite to the base layer (20) has a wet tension of 32 to 45 mN/m.
Protective film
A protective film 10 of the present invention is used by being attached to a resin substrate 21 at the time of performing heat bending on the resin substrate 21 while heating the resin substrate 21. The protective film 10 includes a base material layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer which is positioned between the base material layer and the resin substrate 21 and is adhered to the resin substrate 21. The base material layer is formed of a laminate having a first layer which is positioned on the opposite side of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer, contains a thermoplastic resin, and has a melting point of 150° C. or higher and a second layer which is positioned on the pressure sensitive adhesive layer side, contains a thermoplastic resin, and has a melting point of lower than 120° C.
Hot melt adhesive compositions based on propylene-based polymers and methods for using same
A polymer composition for use in a hot melt adhesive comprises at least one semierystalline, low molecular weight (LMW) propylene-based polymer; at least one essentially amorphous, high molecular weight (HMW) propylene-based polymer; and at least one essentially amorphous, LMW propylene-based polymer. A hot melt adhesive composition further contains a tackifier, a plasticizer, an antioxidant, and optionally a wax, a filler, a colorant, a UV absorber, another polymer, or combinations thereof. The hot melt adhesive is useful for a variety of industrial applications where bonding of low surface energy substrates is encountered, including disposable nonwoven hygienic articles, labeling and other assembly applications. Particularly preferred applications include nonwoven disposable diaper and feminine sanitary napkin construction, diaper and adult incontinent brief elastic attachment, diaper and napkin core stabilization, diaper backsheet lamination, industrial filter material conversion, and surgical gown and surgical drape assemblies. The composition demonstrates improved peel strength while maintaining very good creep resistance.
TWO COMPONENT POLYURETHANE SYSTEM FOR LIQUID APPLIED SOUND DEADENER
A method for producing a coating on a surface of a component part or a device, the method comprises obtaining a two component polyurethane system having a Component A and a Component B, Component A comprises a polyol and Component B comprises an isocyanate. Either Component A or Component B or both components comprise a filler. The method includes mixing Components A and B, to form a mixture comprising the polyol, the isocyanate, and the filler. The method includes applying the mixture to a surface of a component part or a device to form a coating from the mixture; and allowing the applied coating to cure. The steps of applying the coating and allowing the applied coating to cure are performed at an ambient temperature, and the viscosity of the mixture immediately after the mixing step is from 10 Pas to 500 Pas at 23° C.
Metal pipes with anticorrosive polyolefin covering layer
The present invention provides a metal pipe coated on at least a section of the metal pipe with a polyolefin coating system, wherein the system consists of the following layers: (a) optionally, a corrosion protective layer of a chromate, phosphate or other salt; (b) a polyolefin based adhesive, preferably in a thickness of 0.3-5 mm; (c) a PE or PP coating layer, preferably in a thickness of 1-10 mm; (d) optionally, an adhesion promoting layer between the polyolefin based adhesive and a PE or PP layer; wherein the polyolefin based adhesive contains an organic phase consisting of substantially saturated hydrocarbons, and wherein the adhesive contains amorphous polypropylene, ethylene-propylene copolymers or poly(iso)butylene (co)polymers, said adhesive being flowable when a pressure of 10 kgf/cm.sup.2 is applied, wherein the PE or PP coating is a continuous layer over the coated section, and wherein said polyolefin based adhesive adheres to both the metal pipe and to said PE or PP coating.
Thermally crosslinkable composition
The present invention relates to a thermally crosslinkable composition comprising an acid-modified polymer A having a melting point of 110 to 150° C. and a crystallization temperature of 50 to 90° C., an acid-modified polymer B having a melting point of 30 to 110° C. and a crystallization temperature of lower than 50° C., a tackifier resin, and a curing agent, wherein the thermally crosslinkable composition has a crystallization temperature of 30 to 70° C.
