Labeled packages
A labeled package includes a polymeric package, a filmic facestock material as a label on the polymeric package, and a pressure sensitive adhesive adhering the filmic facestock material to the polymeric package. The pressure sensitive adhesive composition includes a monomer mixture, which includes at least one monomer that is free radical polymerizable and whose homopolymer has a glass transition temperature of less than or equal to 10 C.; at least one mono-olefinically unsaturated monomer having aldehyde or ketone functionality; and at least one polyhydrazide crosslinker having hydrazine functionality.
Multi-layered film and the use thereof
The present invention relates to a multi-layered film for the application to a metal or plastic surface, comprising a protective layer (A) as a first layer, which is a poly(alkyl methacrylate) film comprising at least one hindered amine light stabilizer and at least two different ortho-hydroxy tris-aryl triazine UV absorbers selected from compounds of formulae (7) and (8); a barrier layer (B), a base layer (C), an adhesive layer (D) as last layer, and wherein barrier layer (B) and/or base layer (C) comprise at least one pigment. The multi-layered films are especially suitable for the application to the surface of automobiles.

An anchor layer formation composition, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-attached optical film, and an image display device are provided, in which the composition includes an oxazoline group-containing polymer and an ionic compound including a cation component and a sulfonyl group-containing anion component and is capable of forming an anchor layer that can improve the adhesion between a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and an optical film when interposed therebetween, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-attached optical film has high durability and good reworkability and allows the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to resist chipping, and the image display device has the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-attached optical film.
ADHESIVE FILM, ADHESIVE SYSTEM, AND RELATED PROCESSES
An adhesive film includes a first (meth)acrylate copolymer containing at least 55 weight percent (wt. %) of linear or branched alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer units, from 15 to 40 wt. % of (meth)acrylic acid monomer units, and 0.1 to 5 wt. % of monomer units of a crosslinking monomer having more than one (meth)acrylate group. If the first (meth)acrylate copolymer comprises 15 wt. % (meth)acrylic acid monomer units, the first (meth)acrylate copolymer comprises at least five wt. % monomer units of a high T.sub.g monomer. The adhesive film comprises not more than five wt. % of a further (meth)acrylate copolymer comprising from 0.1 to 15 wt. % of (meth)acrylic acid monomer units. The adhesive film can be a multilayer adhesive assembly including a first layer of the first (meth)acrylate copolymer and a second adhesive layer adjacent to the first layer. A process for making and a system including the adhesive film and a primer are also described.
Method for producing an adhesive tape
An adhesive tape (1) which requires a smaller amount of adhesive by comparison with conventional adhesive tapes having the same adhesive properties is obtained using a method for producing an adhesive tape, which method comprises the following steps: a) mixing an ASE thickener with water and producing an (ASE) thickener-water mixture (7); b) producing an adhesive dispersion (8) from an adhesive and a solvent; c) providing a textile substrate (2); d) applying the (ASE) thickener-water mixture (7) to the textile substrate; e) applying the adhesive dispersion (8) to the (ASE) thickener-water mixture (7) in order to obtain the adhesive tape; f) drying the obtained adhesive tape; in which method the thickener, in particular the ASE thickener, is saturated with water and the adhesive dispersion (8) is applied after or at the same time as the (ASE) thickener-water mixture (7) is applied.
