Release film
The present invention provides a release film having good releasability such that a release force is light, and also suppresses silicone transfer from the film surface. The present invention relates to a release film having a surface layer on a substrate layer, in which a main component of the surface layer is a resin component, the resin component contains a modified acrylic-based resin having a polysiloxane component, and a relationship between a ratio M.sub.T of a content of silicon to a content of all elements existing on an outermost surface of the surface layer and a ratio M.sub.B of a content of silicon to a content of all elements existing at a position in a depth of 10 nm from the outermost surface of the surface layer vertically toward the substrate layer satisfies (i) 5≤M.sub.T/M.sub.B≤30 or (ii) M.sub.B=0, and 8.5≤M.sub.T≤30.

ACRYLIC POLYVINYL ACETAL FILMS & COMPOSITION
A film is described comprising a (meth)acrylic polymer and a polyvinyl acetal (e.g. butyral) resin. In some embodiments, the film has a glass transition temperature (i.e. Tg) ranging from 30 C. to 60 C. In some embodiments, the film has a gel content of at least 20% or greater. In some embodiments, the film has an elongation at break of at least 175%. The film typically comprises photoinitiator as a result of the method by which the film was made. The film may be a monolithic film or a layer of a multilayer film.
System and Method for Material Transfer
The present disclosure, in one embodiment, relates to a system and method to transfer material to a substrate. In one embodiment, the system for material transfer includes an adhesive sheet and a transfer material sheet. The adhesive sheet comprises an adhesive, such as ethylene acrylic acid (EAA), ethylene methacrylic acid (EMAA), or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), and a paper release backing. The paper release backing may comprise supercalendered kraft base paper. The transfer material sheet may include a transfer material and a material release liner. The transfer material may be metallized polyester
SUBSTRATE FOR RELEASE SHEETS, AND RELEASE SHEET
The present invention relates to a substrate for release sheet including a support, an adhesion layer (X1), and a resin layer (Y1) containing polyethylene having a density of 930 kg/m.sup.3 or more and 960 kg/m.sup.3 or less in this order, wherein convex portions are present on the surface of the resin layer (Y1), and a difference in height of the convex portions is 0.5 m or more.
