[Solution] A photopolymerizable coating composition which contains, as photopolymerizable components, a urethane (meth)acrylate (component (a)) and a photopolymerizable (meth)acrylic compound (component (b)), and which is configured such that: from 1% by weight to 50% by weight (inclusive) of the component (a) and from 50% by weight to 99% by weight (inclusive) of the component (b) relative to the total amount of the photopolymerizable components are mixed; and the component (b) contains a photopolymerizable acrylic compound (component (b1)) which has a structural unit derived from a fluorosilsesquioxane derivative represented by formula (1), a reactive silicone (component (b2)) and a photopolymerizable acrylic compound (component (b3)) which has no urethane unit, no fluorine atom and no Si atom.
CONNECTING OF SEALING STRIPS
A method for connecting sealing strips, includes at least one latent alkyl borane and is substantially free of decomplexing agent for the latent alkyl borane, to a sealing-strip substrate (1), applying a radical-curing adhesive to the sealing-strip substrate (1) pre-treated with the latent alkyl borane, bringing the sealingstrip substrate (1) in contact with a sealing-strip substrate (2) in such a way that the radical-curing adhesive is arranged between the two substrates, and allowing the radical-curing adhesive to cure, a composite structure thus being fonned. The method for adhesively bonding sealing strips based on elastic and thennoplastic substrates, such as EPDM or SBR, but also for adhesively bonding PVC sealing strips. Sealing strips adhesively bonded accordingly are characterized by favorable resistance of the adhesive to alkaline media, wherein conventional adhesives can be used which have optimized properties with regard to the storage stability, the open time, and the curing time thereof.
FILM BACKINGS FOR PEEL RELEASE MOUNTING
A peelable adhesive article capable of adhering to a substrate wherein subsequent removal of the adhesive does not damage the substrate, and methods of making and using said peelable adhesive article. The adhesive articles comprise a peelable adhesive adjacent to a major surface of a backing, wherein the backing has a modulus of elasticity and/or modulus of secant between 100 to 18,000 psi as measured by ASTM D638-14 and/or ASTM D412-06a. The backing may be a multilayer backing comprising a core layer and at least one skin layer in a ratio of 2:1 to 100:1.
Sealable multilayer film of styrene polymers with improved organoleptic properties
A heat-sealable multilayer film comprising: a) 1% to 50% by weight of heat-sealable polymer layer (A), b) 1% to 99% by weight of polymer layer (C), and c) 0% to 95% by weight of polymer layer (B), with polymer layer (A) comprising: A1) 20% to 90% by weight of impact-resistant polystyrene and A2) 5% to 50% by weight of vinylaromatic-diene block copolymer; and polymer layer (B) comprising impact-resistant polystyrene, vinylaromatic-diene block copolymer, and/or mixtures of styrene homopolymers or vinylaromatic-diene graft copolymers with vinylaromatic-diene block copolymers; and polymer layer (C) having a melting temperature of ?170? C.; and polymer layer (A) comprising) i) 66% to 99% by volume of a vinylaromatic hard phase and ii) 1% to 34% by volume of a diene soft phase surrounded by the hard phase and taking the form of spheres/cylinders.
Adhesive tape
An object of the present invention is to provide an adhesive tape that can be removed from an adherend more easily and more rapidly. The adhesive tape of the present invention includes a base material layer, and adhesive layers on both sides of the base material layer, the base material layer has a thickness of 10 to 100 ?m, a breaking strength of 20 to 90 MPa, a breaking elongation of 400% to 1,500%, and a 100% modulus of 1 to 5 MPa, and an adhesive composition forming the adhesive layers contains 1% to 40% by mass of filler particles having an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 40 ?m with respect to 100% by mass of the adhesive composition.
CROSSLINKED POLYETHYLENE FOAM
Described herein are physically crosslinked, closed cell continuous foam structures comprising low density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), or a combination of LDPE and LLDPE, and olefin block copolymer (OBC). The foam structure can be obtained by extruding a foam composition comprising LDPE, LLDPE, or a combination of LDPE and LLDPE, and OBC, irradiating the composition with ionizing radiation, and foaming the composition.
