The aim is to provide an adhesive tape that effectively protects an electronic construction from permeants, especially water, and that at the same time has good gap-filling qualities. To solve this problem an adhesive tape is proposed that has in the following order:a carrier layer without barrier effect at least towards water and with a WVTR of at least 1 g/(m.sup.2*d) (38 C., 90% relative humidity, 50 m layer thickness);a layer comprising at least one getter material capable of sorbing at least water;a water barrier ply; anda layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive, where the carrier layer bears an outward-facing release layer and/or the layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive is lined with a release liner which has a release layer lying on the layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive.

A sealant film including a polyester layer containing polyester as a main ingredient, in which the polyester is made of a structural unit derived from ethylene glycol, a structural unit derived from terephthalic acid and a structural unit derived from isophthalic acid, a ratio of the structural unit derived from isophthalic acid is 3.0 mol % or more and 15 mol % or less relative to ratios of the structural unit derived from terephthalic acid and the structural unit derived from isophthalic acid constituting the polyester, and a content rate of an oligomer contained in polyester layer is less than 2.0% by mass.
Double-sided adhesive tape
There is provided a double-sided adhesive tape includes a foam base, a resin film disposed on a surface of the foam base, an adhesive layer disposed on a surface of the resin film, and an adhesive layer disposed on another surface of the foam base. The foam base has a density of 0.45 g/cm.sup.3 or less and an interlaminar strength of 10 N/cm or more. The adhesive layer has a 180-peel adhesion of 10 N/20 mm or more. The 180-peel adhesion is measured at a peeling speed of 300 mm/min when an adhesive tape including a 25-m-thick PET base and a 25-m-thick adhesive layer disposed on the PET base is bonded to an aluminium board at 23 C. and 65% RH by pressing the adhesive tape against the aluminium board with one stroke of a 2-kg roller and subsequently the adhesive tape is left standing for 1 hour at 23 C. and 50% RH.

The invention provides a frameless photo-energy assembly including a photo-energy converter, wherein an edge of the photo-energy converter is sealed by an adhesive tape, comprising an adhering layer for adhesion and cushioning; and an aging-resistant protective layer. The adhering layer is used to contact the edge of an article and comprises: a substrate layer; optionally, a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer situated at both sides of the substrate layer oppositely, wherein the first adhesive layer being used to be contact with the article. The aging-resistant protective layer is situated on the adhering layer, which comprises: an optional primer layer, which is situated on the adhering layer; and a film layer, which is situated on either the primer layer or the substrate or the second adhesive layer. The invention further provides an adhesive tape for sealing an edge of an article and an article made of the assembly.

A multilayer film includes a protective layer, a color layer and an adhesive layer, with a molding film disposed between either of the adjoining pairs of layers or on an opposite surface of the protective layer to the color layer, wherein the protective layer contains a polyurethane resin (U) formed at least from an active hydrogen component (A) and an organic isocyanate component (B) and having a polycarbonate skeleton with an alicyclic hydrocarbon group and conditions (1) and/or (2) are satisfied: (1): the polyurethane resin (U) is a polyurethane resin (U1) having an alkoxysilyl and/or a silanol group in a molecule, (2): the protective layer contains a compound (X) having a glycidyl ether and an alkoxysilyl and/or a silanol group, and the polyurethane resin (U) is a polyurethane resin (U2) having an amino group or a carboxyl group and/or a salt thereof.

A decorative film with a cover film of an embodiment includes: (a) a polyurethane layer having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface and containing a polyurethane that is crosslinked at least partially, wherein the polyurethane that is crosslinked at least partially includes at least one of a polyester-based polyurethane or a polycarbonate-based polyurethane: (b) a removable cover film having a corona treated or plasma treated surface, wherein the corona treated or plasma treated surface of the removable cover film is in contact with the first surface of the polyurethane layer: (c) a base layer having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, wherein the first surface of the base layer is in contact with the second surface of the polyurethane layer; and (d) an adhesive layer in contact with the second surface of the base layer.

A pressure sensitive adhesive sheet may include a base material and a hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesive layer which contains a softener, and further include a barrier layer disposed between the base material and the hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesive layer, the barrier layer containing at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyester-based resin, a polyurethane-based resin, and a polyolefin-based resin. The polyester-based resin may be at least one of a polyester resin or a modified polyester resin.
