Method For Forming Components Without Adding Tabs During Etching
A method for producing a component without tabs during etching. The method includes: applying a wafer tape to the plated side of the substrate; depositing a resist layer on a metal layer on a metal side of the substrate that is opposite of the plated side; exposing the resist layer to UV light; developing the resist layer; and etching the metal layer.
MASK FILM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POLARIZING PLATE BY USING SAME
The present disclosure relates to a mask film used for manufacturing a polarizing plate having a locally bleached area, and a polarizing plate manufactured using the same.
ADHESIVE ARTICLES PERMITTING DAMAGE FREE REMOVAL
The present disclosure provides adhesive articles that can be removed from surfaces without damage by having reduced or eliminated contribution of a core backing to peel force generated by the adhesive during removal. In some instances, this can be accomplished by a core that loses structural integrity in a direction normal to a plane defined by a major surface. In other instances, the contribution is reduced by compromising the interface between the core and a peelable adhesive layer.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE TAPE
Provided is a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape that can express both of excellent impact resistance and excellent reworkability. The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape includes: a base material layer; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer arranged on at least one side of the base material layer, wherein the base material layer has a specific gravity of 0.8 g/cm.sup.3 or more, and wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has a 100% modulus at 23° C. and 50% RH of 50 MPa or less.
Low Coefficient of Friction Laminates
The present disclosure provides a laminate. The laminate includes a first film and a second film, wherein the first film is laminated to the second film. The first film includes a sealant layer containing (A) an ethylene-based polymer; and (B) a slip agent blend containing (i) a first polydimethylsiloxane having a number average molecular weight (Mn) from 30,000 g/mol to less than 300,000 g/mol; and (ii) a second polydimethylsiloxane having a number average molecular weight (Mn) from 300,000 g/mol to 2,000,000 g/mol.
A PROTECTIVE FILM
The present invention provides an adhesive protective film for protecting pipework, the film comprising: a protection layer; a release layer; and an adhesive between the protection and release layer. The release layer comprises a first plurality of uniformly spaced failure initiation locations provided along a first edge of the release layer for initiating tearing of the protective film; and the release layer is at least 50 μm thick.
Film Constructions And Articles
Film constructions and articles including the film constructions, wherein a film construction includes: a backing (or an adhesive layer) having a first major surface and a second major surface; and a release layer disposed on the first major surface of the backing (or adhesive layer), wherein the release layer includes polylactic acid.
Release film
The present invention provides a release film having good releasability such that a release force is light, and also suppresses silicone transfer from the film surface. The present invention relates to a release film having a surface layer on a substrate layer, in which a main component of the surface layer is a resin component, the resin component contains a modified acrylic-based resin having a polysiloxane component, and a relationship between a ratio M.sub.T of a content of silicon to a content of all elements existing on an outermost surface of the surface layer and a ratio M.sub.B of a content of silicon to a content of all elements existing at a position in a depth of 10 nm from the outermost surface of the surface layer vertically toward the substrate layer satisfies (i) 5≤M.sub.T/M.sub.B≤30 or (ii) M.sub.B=0, and 8.5≤M.sub.T≤30.
Floor coverings and floor covering systems and methods of making and installing same
Floor coverings having a greige good, an adhesive layer, and a secondary backing material. The greige good has a primary backing component having adjoined first and second portions, and a plurality of fibers. The secondary backing material has an attached portion and a first exposable portion, with the attached portion adhered to the first portion of the primary backing component by contact with the adhesive layer. The second portion of the primary backing component is unattached to the first exposable portion of the secondary backing material, and the first exposable portion defines a portion of the first end edge of the floor covering. The second portion of the primary backing component is selectively moveable relative to the first portion to a position in which at least a portion of the second portion of the primary backing component does not overlie the first exposable portion of the secondary backing material.
PHOTOCURABLE ADHESIVE SHEET, ADHESIVE SHEET LAMINATE, LAMINATE FOR IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
Provided is a photocurable adhesive sheet having both step conformability and shape stability and also excellent in durability after attachment to an adherend member.
The photocurable adhesive sheet includes a first adhesive layer, a second adhesive layer, and an intermediate layer interposed between the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer, and is characterized in that the intermediate layer is a layer that is formed from a resin composition containing a (meth)acrylic copolymer as a main component resin and has a crosslinked structure, the first adhesive layer, the second adhesive layer, or both of these layers are photocurable resin layers each formed from a photocurable resin composition, and the fall time in the measurement of holding force at 40° C. under a load of 1 N/cm.sup.2 is 60 minutes or more, while the fall time in the measurement of holding force at 60° C. under a load of 1 N/cm.sup.2 is less than 60 minutes.
