LOW-PROFILE BAND LATCH MECHANISM
A low-profile band latch mechanism that is configured to connect a wristband to a fitness tracker or other wrist-wearable device is provided.
Watchband Connecting Piece, Watchband, and Watch
A watchband connecting piece including a body and a sliding button. A sliding slot and a buckling slot are disposed on the body, where elastic positioning pieces are disposed on the sliding button, and the elastic positioning pieces elastically protrude from a surface of the sliding button. The sliding button extends from the opening and is clamped with the buckling slot to form locking space, and the elastic positioning pieces are limited to a first position of a slot bottom wall of the sliding slot. The sliding button is unlocked from the buckling slot, and the elastic positioning pieces are limited to a second position of the slot bottom wall of the sliding slot.
End piece
An end piece arranged to be detachably fixed to a bar, the end piece including: a groove intended to house the bar; a rotating part able to pivot about an axis parallel to the bar between a locking position, in which the rotating part prevents the bar from leaving the groove, and a release position, in which the rotating part allows the bar to be respectively introduced into or extracted from the groove; and a locking mechanism arranged to block the rotation of the rotating part. This end piece can be handled by the user, who can fix it to a bar and detach it from the bar without requiring any tooling.
Watch band with braided strands
A stretchable watch band can include braided strands that provide a comfortable fit around the wrist of the user. The watch band can stretch and conform to the user based on the elasticity within each strand and based on the ability of the strands to move relative to each other. End sections of the watch band can include attachment elements that securely connect the watch band to a housing of the watch. The end sections can be configured to releasable connect to the housing in a manner that is reliable and easy for a user. Additionally, the watch band can provide a smooth transition from the size and/or shape of the housing to a size and/or shape of a continuous section of the watch band. Additionally, the watch band can conceal portions thereof other than the braided strands when connected to the housing of the watch.
DUAL BAND APPARATUS FOR HANDLING A PERSONAL COMPUTING DEVICE
A dual stretch band includes a first loop sized for receiving a wearer's hand and a second loop sized for receiving a personal computing device. The first loop and the second loop may be joined at one or more dual stretch band seams.
Clasp mechanisms for wristwatch bands
A watch band includes a strap and a clasp mechanism integrated with an end of the strap. The clasp mechanism includes a concave member defining a channel at the end of the strap and a cover plate. The cover plate is configured to move between (i) a first position in which the cover plate covers the channel, and (ii) a second position in which the cover plate is retracted to leave at least part of the channel uncovered by the cover plate.
REMOVABLE BRACELET FOR HOROLOGY OR JEWELLERY
Removable bracelet for horology or jewellery, with a bracelet portion arranged to confine a watch or jewellery bar, comprising at the end thereof a chamber arranged for housing this bar, the chamber including a lateral opening on a first side of the bracelet portion for the insertion or removal of the bar, the bracelet portion including a pusher controlling a tongue movable in a longitudinal direction against a spring, this pusher is movable in a transverse direction and includes a first profile arranged to cooperate with a second profile of the tongue to transform the transverse motion of the pusher into a longitudinal motion of the tongue, the bracelet includes a means of closure arranged on the first side for retaining the pusher in the depth of the bracelet portion.
Attachment device
An attachment device is provided for two elements of a watch band to allow the two elements to be hooked into place or unhooked. The first element includes at least one bar on one of its ends. The second element includes two grooves, each including a longitudinal opening respectively opposite one another, and one of the two elements can move from an unhooked position. One of the elements is oriented in a predetermined angular position in relation to the other element, to a hooked position, in which the two elements are coplanar after a rotation of a predetermined angle of one of the two elements in relation to the other so that each groove is articulated on the bar to hold the two elements hooked to one another.
Wearable electronic device
A wearable electronic device is provided, including a main body, a flexible member, a connecting member, and a first hinge. The connecting member is connected to the flexible member and has a hook portion. The first hinge is disposed on the main body and detachably engaged with the hook portion, such that the connecting member is pivotally connected to the main body.
PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH STRAP
The invention proposes a portable electronic device (100) having a housing (101) and a strap (107) that is mechanically attached to the housing. The housing encompasses electronic components and protects them from ambient influences. The strap bears further electronic components (108), whereby an electrically conductive connection (301A, 301B) exists between the housing and the strap. The strap is mechanically attached to the housing by means of a form-fitting connection (304), whereby the connection is oriented appropriately such that a tensile force acting on the strap in the strap's longitudinal direction generates a force component that aims to push the strap onto the housing. The strap can be mounted easily on the housing and establishes a mechanical and electrical connection between the housing and the strap in a single assembly step. The mechanical connection between the strap and the housing also resists tensile forces without forces acting on the electric contacts that might lead to a disconnection of the electrical connection between the strap and the housing.
