A wearable electronic device according to an embodiment may comprise: a housing and a wearable member. The housing may include a seating area recessed in at least a part of the side surface of the housing. The wearable member may be separably connected to the seating area. The seating area may include at least one first connecting portion on both sidewalls in one axial direction. The wearable member may comprise: a link assembly coupled to the seating area to be releasable therefrom; and a strap. The link assembly may include a pair of first sidewalls, each facing one of the two sidewalls of the housing. The link assembly may include at least one second connecting portion arranged on at least a part of the first sidewalls and engaged with the first 10 connecting portion. The strap may include: a first portion encompassing at least a part of the link assembly; and/or a second portion extending from the first portion. At least a part of the first portion may be arranged between the seating area and the link assembly.

Method of manufacturing a strap for a wearable device

A strap for a wearable device comprises a printed circuit board (PCB) located within said strap. The PCB comprises a first electronic component, coupled to a first flexible portion. The first electronic component is mounted to a cage, the cage comprising a cage pivot mount. The flexible portion is under tension and urges said first electronic component towards said cage pivot mount such that a pivotable connection is formed between said cage and said first electronic component. Also disclosed is a method of manufacture of the strap.

FASTENING MEMBER FOR ATTACHING A BRACELET TO A WATCH CASE

The present invention concerns a fastening member for a strand of a bracelet, adapted to be removably connected to a watch case. The fastening member has a housing in which are held a first and a second pad arranged so as to be able to slide in a direction transverse to the length of the strand and to cooperate respectively with a first and a second pivot secured to the lugs of the watch case; an elastic member arranged so as to move the first and second pads away from each other; and a lock arranged, on the one hand, to lock the fastening member when the lock is in a locked position and, on the other hand, to allow the fastening member to be disconnected from the watch case when the lock is actuated to be brought into an unlocked position and a force allowing the fastening member to be separated from the watch case is applied against the elastic member. According to the invention, the lock and the first and second pads are configured so that the actuation of the lock from the locked position to the unlocked position does not transmit any movement to said first and second pads.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING STRAP INCLUDING STRUCTURE TO BE DETACHABLY COUPLED TO HOUSING

An electronic device includes: a housing including a pin; and a strap detachably coupled to the housing. The strap includes: a coupling groove that includes a first end that surrounds the pin and a second end that is open toward a first surface of the strap; and a button including an inclined surface that is inclined with respect to the first surface of the strap and slidable relative to the pin. A first portion of the button is movable into or out of the coupling groove, wherein a gap between the first portion of the button and an inner surface of the coupling groove is expanded as the button moves in a first direction toward a second surface of the strap opposite to the first surface of the strap, and wherein the gap is reduced as the button moves in a second direction opposite to the first direction.
