Uncured aqueous composition comprising a blend of (a) a sulfonated polyester, (b) at least one of a self-crosslinking acrylic or a self-crosslinking polyurethane binder, and (c) melamine-formaldehyde crosslinker, wherein the uncured aqueous composition has a free-formaldehyde content not greater than 0.04 part per million formaldehyde as determined by the Formaldehyde Test, and cured composition thereof. Compositions described herein are useful, for example, for making primed film for release liners applications.

Silicone compositions containing acrylate cure accelerator

Compositions are disclosed which include between about 0.05 to about 5 or less wt. % of at least one acrylate monomer based on the total weight of the composition. The acrylate monomer reduces the peak cure temperature, thereby accelerating the rate of cure, without sacrificing completeness of the cure or the release performance of the cured product. The addition of the acrylate monomer also enables a reduction in the amount of costly platinum catalyst required to effectively cure a composition. In addition to the acrylate monomer, the compositions also include a silicone base polymer, a crosslinking agent, and platinum catalyst. The cured compositions exhibit properties useful for incorporation into release liners, adhesive articles, medical products and gaskets.

The present invention discloses an ultra-quiet backing-paper-free cold laminating film comprising a substrate layer, a release layer, and an adhesive layer, the release layer and the adhesive layer being each attached to a respective side of the substrate layer, the release layer being obtained by drying a release agent applied on the substrate layer, and the release agent consisting of the following components by weight: 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, vinyltrimethoxysilane, 1-methyl-1-phenylethyl hydroperoxide, vinyl-terminated silicone resin, di-t-butyl cumene peroxide, fluorosiloxane, ethyl acetate, ethylene glycol dimethyl ether, a toughening agent, polysiloxane-polyether copolymer, silicone and wax powder. In the invention, the peel strength is reduced; it is ensured that the release force of the cold laminating film is not affected by the external environment, such that the cold laminating film has good stability; and meanwhile the subsequent adhesion of the release layer is improved, so that it can ensure that the adhesive force of the adhesive layer would not be affected after long-term adhesion between the adhesive layer and the release layer.

The present invention discloses an ultra-quiet backing-paper-free cold laminating film comprising a substrate layer, a release layer, and an adhesive layer, the release layer and the adhesive layer being each attached to a respective side of the substrate layer, the release layer being obtained by drying a release agent applied on the substrate layer, and the release agent consisting of the following components by weight: 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, vinyltrimethoxysilane, 1-methyl-1-phenylethyl hydroperoxide, vinyl-terminated silicone resin, di-t-butyl cumene peroxide, fluorosiloxane, ethyl acetate, ethylene glycol dimethyl ether, a toughening agent, polysiloxane-polyether copolymer, silicone and wax powder. A curable polysiloxane release coating composition comprises (A) an organopolysiloxane containing ethylenically unsaturated groups. Described herein are methods of forming uncured sealant assemblies and also methods of forming seals between various parts using such assemblies. In some examples, an uncured sealant assembly comprises two protective layers and an uncured sealant layer, disposed in between. The uncured sealant assembly is stored and provided at a cure-inhibiting temperature, selected to minimize the curing rate of the uncured sealant layer. The size and the shape of the uncured sealant layer are specifically selected to ensure the complete coverage of the faying surfaces, filling of all gaps and voids between the faying surfaces, and controlling the shape and size of uncured sealant squeeze out between the faying surfaces. In some examples, the size and shape of the uncured sealant layer maybe be specifically selected to have no uncured sealant squeeze out between parts.

ANTI-FOULING SILICONE COMPOSITE SHEET AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING PREVENTION OF GRAFFITI BY USING THE SAME

An anti-fouling silicone composite sheet includes a substrate layer, and a silicone adhesive layer stacked on one surface of the substrate layer, and has a hardness of 5 or less measured with an Asker C hardness tester and an adhesive force of 5 N/25 mm or more with respect to a mortar test piece, in which a surface of the substrate layer which is located on a side opposite to the surface where the silicone adhesive layer is stacked is a surface anti-fouling-treated with a silicone hard coating agent containing a fluorine-containing silicone compound. An anti-fouling silicone composite sheet is capable of exhibiting anti-fouling performance and washability stably for a long period, easily attachable to an adherend, and followable even to cracking and shifting on the application surface; and a method for preventing graffiti by using the anti-fouling silicone composite sheet.
