The wristband locking mechanism includes a clasp assembly with independently-operable spring-biased actuators such that the wristband locking mechanism cannot be unlocked using one hand. One of the female and male parts includes a first magnet and the other of the female and male parts includes a part magnetically attractable by the first magnet. The female part includes a housing and a hinged lid, the hinged lid being pivotable between a locking state and a releasing state and including the first magnet or the part magnetically attractable by the first magnet. When the female part is open, the male part can be inserted in an axial direction into the housing, and when the female part is closed and the male part is inserted into the housing, the male part is locked to the female part.

A jewelry clasp for securing a first end of an elongated member of a bracelet or a necklace to a second end of the elongated member includes a female part and a male part. One of the female and male parts includes a first magnet and the other of the female and male parts includes a part magnetically attractable by the first magnet. The female part includes a housing and a hinged lid, the hinged lid being pivotable between a locking state and a releasing state and including the first magnet or the part magnetically attractable by the first magnet. When the female part is open, the male part can be inserted in an axial direction into the housing, and when the female part is closed and the male part is inserted into the housing, the male part is locked to the female part.

The present invention relates to a small and handheld tool for opening small clasps and other closures. More specifically, the tool features an elongated handle, having a slider mechanism and a push button. The slider mechanism operates a slider or positioning arm and the spring-loaded push button operates a pair of clamps to hold the clasp in position. The slider arm and the pair of clamps extend from one end of the elongated handle. The pair of clamps secure the clasp between their rubber-tipped ends and the slider arm opens the clasp by moving a tab of the clasp radially along the surface of the clasp.

The present invention provides an illuminated wristband having one or more removable and interchangeable attached LED lights. Specifically, in the first embodiment, the illuminated wristband preferably includes a hook and loop wristband having a first end, a second end, a top surface area and a bottom surface area. Also, in the first embodiment, the entire top surface area around the wristband has a loop portion. In the second embodiment, the illuminated wristband includes a hook and loop wristband having a first end, a second end, a top surface area, a bottom surface area, a first side surface area, and a second side surface area. Also, in the second embodiment, the entire first and second side surface areas, and the entire top surface area have a loop portion. Each of the LED lights has an outer housing having a hook portion so that each of the LED lights can be removably attached to any loop portion of the top surface area of the wristband in the first embodiment, and to any loop portion of the top surface area, and first and second side surface areas of the wristband, in the second embodiment. Further, each of the LED lights includes an outer housing containing one or more light emitting diodes, and a battery; and optionally includes a control circuit, and a button controller.
