Herbicidal compositions
Herbicidal compositions containing (a) an amide herbicide selected from flufenacet, dimethenamid or a stereoisomer thereof, acetochlor, or metolachlor or a stereoisomer thereof, (b) fomesafen or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof, and (c) saflufenacil are disclosed, wherein components (a), (b) and (c) are present in amounts effective to reduce the phytotoxicity of the saflufenacil. Methods of making and using herbicidal compositions containing (a) metolachlor or a stereoisomer thereof, (b) fomesafen or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof, and (c) saflufenacil are also disclosed.

Herbicidal composition having improved plant safety
To provide a herbicidal composition which has a high herbicidal effect against undesired plants while stably maintaining the safety for useful plants, independently of various conditions such as weather conditions, soil conditions, varieties of the crop plants, and the timing for the application of the herbicide. A herbicidal composition comprising (1) 1-(1-ethyl-4-(3-(2-methoxyethoxy)-2-methyl-4-(methylsulfonyl)benzoyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-yloxy)ethyl methyl carbonate or its salt and (2) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of fenchlorazole-ethyl, isoxadifen-ethyl, mefenpyr-diethyl, cloquintocet-mexyl and cyprosulfamide.
Herbicidal composition having improved plant safety
To provide a herbicidal composition which has a high herbicidal effect against undesired plants while stably maintaining the safety for useful plants, independently of various conditions such as weather conditions, soil conditions, varieties of the crop plants, and the timing for the application of the herbicide. A herbicidal composition comprising (1) 1-(1-ethyl-4-(3-(2-methoxyethoxy)-2-methyl-4-(methylsulfonyl)benzoyl)-1H-pyrazol-5-yloxy)ethyl methyl carbonate or its salt and (2) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of fenchlorazole-ethyl, isoxadifen-ethyl, mefenpyr-diethyl, cloquintocet-mexyl and cyprosulfamide.
USE OF CERTAIN HERBICIDE COMBINATIONS BASED ON IODOSULFURON IN TEFF PLANTS
The present invention primarily relates to the use of specific herbicide combinations based on iodosulfuron or of a composition comprising said specific herbicide combinations for controlling harmful plants in teff (Eragrostis tef) plants. The present invention also relates to the use of specific herbicide combinations based on iodosulfuron or of a composition comprising said specific herbicide combinations as plant growth regulators for teff (Eragrostis tef) plants. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a corresponding method of controlling harmful plants in teff (Eragrostis tef) plants and to a corresponding method of regulating plant growth of teff (Eragrostis tef) plants.
USE OF CERTAIN HERBICIDE COMBINATIONS BASED ON IODOSULFURON IN TEFF PLANTS
The present invention primarily relates to the use of specific herbicide combinations based on iodosulfuron or of a composition comprising said specific herbicide combinations for controlling harmful plants in teff (Eragrostis tef) plants. The present invention also relates to the use of specific herbicide combinations based on iodosulfuron or of a composition comprising said specific herbicide combinations as plant growth regulators for teff (Eragrostis tef) plants. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a corresponding method of controlling harmful plants in teff (Eragrostis tef) plants and to a corresponding method of regulating plant growth of teff (Eragrostis tef) plants.
Use of aqueous drift-reducing compositions
The invention relates to the use of compositions which contain A) one or more copolymers, said copolymers containing one or more structural units resulting from a) 19.9 to 75.9 wt.-% of glycerin, b) 0.1 to 30 wt.-% of at least one dicarboxylic acid, and c) 24 to 80 wt.-% of at least one monocarboxylic acid according to formula (I): R.sup.1—COOH, wherein R.sup.1 is (C.sub.5-C.sub.29) alkyl; (C.sub.7-C.sub.29) alkenyl; phenyl or naphthyl, and B) water for reducing drift during the application of a spray emulsion that contains one or more pesticides.
