A jewelry item has a ring part pivotally attached to a closure at one end, the closure comprising a ring continuation arm pivotally attached to the ring part, and a bias arm which in turn has a spring part and a lever pivotally attached to each other, the bias arm being rigidly attached to the ring part, so that as the ring part is opened, the lever rotates inwardly, pulling the pivoted end of the spring part, the spring part having a natural shape of smaller circumference than the ring itself so that once a certain extent is reached, the spring part pulls the lever to allow the spring part to attain its smaller diameter and thus establishes a stable open position. On closure of the ring part, the lever pushes the spring part outwardly towards the ring continuation arm to establish a second stable position to close the earring.

This disclosure includes jewelry that has an arcuate first body with opposite first and second ends, each end defining an opening. An arcuate second body has an end with a hinge element in the opening of the first end of the first body to provide pivot capability between the first and second bodies. An arcuate third body has an end with a hinge element in the opening of the second end of the first body to provide pivot capability between the first and third bodies.

An adjustable finger ring may include a ring head having through holes on the bottom a first shank having shank collars as support at one end and a split portion at the other end, and a second shank having shank collars as support at one end and a split portion at the other end. The split portions may complement and overlap each other in an operative condition of the ring. A spring can be fitted inside the two supports with the coils of the spring aligned with the holes of the support of the first shank so as to allow a pin to pass through. The inward facing surfaces of the collars of the second shank may confront the outward facing surfaces of the collars of the first shank. The holes of the collars can be aligned so as to allow the pin to pass through. The two shanks may be hinged together and act as a spring clasp.

An adjustable ring id provided, the ring including a crown portion; a belly band portion; a pair of arcuate rocker arms, each rocker arm having a first end rotatably connectable to the crown portion and a second end receivable in the belly band portion such that the second ends and the belly band can travel relative to one another; and one or more springs positioned relative to the rocker arms to provide resiliency to travel of the rocker arms relative to the belly band. A first ring sizing device may include a ring-shaped housing defined by a fixed ring size and including a first housing component and a second housing component connected at a first connection point via a hinge assembly and at a second connection point via a locking assembly. The hinge assembly may enable the second housing component to move relative to the first housing component to transition the ring-shaped housing between a closed configuration and an open configuration based on exertion of a force. A second ring sizing device may include a body and a gate movably coupled to the body via a hinge assembly. The body and the gate may form a first opening corresponding to a fixed ring size when they are aligned and may form a second opening, larger than the first opening, when they are mis-aligned.
