Treatment of sulfide scales

Treating a sulfide scale includes contacting the sulfide scale with an oxidizing composition that includes a first oxidizer and a second oxidizer.

Multi-Functional Diverter Particulates

Methods and compositions for treating a well. A method comprising: introducing a treatment fluid into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation wherein the treatment fluid comprises: a base fluid; and multi-functional diverter particulates, wherein the multi-functional diverter particulates comprise a polyvinyl alcohol and a well service additive; and diverting at least a portion of the treatment fluid and/or a subsequently introduced fluid away from the zone. A treatment fluid comprising: a base fluid; and a multi-functional diverter particulate, wherein the multi-functional diverter particulates comprise a polyvinyl alcohol and a well service additive.

Reversible aminal gel compositions, methods, and use

A well treatment composition for use in a hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir comprising a reversible aminal gel composition. The reversible aminal gel composition includes a liquid precursor composition. The liquid precursor composition is operable to remain in a liquid state at about room temperature. The liquid precursor composition comprises an organic amine composition; an aldehyde composition; and a polar aprotic organic solvent. The liquid precursor composition transitions from the liquid state to a gel state responsive to an increase in temperature in the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir. The gel state is stable in the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir at a temperature similar to a temperature of the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir, and the gel state is operable to return to the liquid state responsive to a change in the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir selected from the group consisting of: a decrease in pH in the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir and an addition of excess metal salt composition in the hydrocarbon-bearing reservoir.

NEUTRALIZE HAZARD GASES CONTROL SYSTEM

Systems and methods include a computer-implemented method for neutralizing hazardous gases. Indications of a hazardous gas leak occurring in a detected release area are received at a neutralize hazardous gases (NHS) control system from one or more gas sensors of a production facility. In response to receiving the indications of the hazardous gas leak, hydrogen sulfide (H.sub.2S) scavengers are sprayed into the detected release areas by scavenger injection nozzles controlled by the NHS control system. An expandable containment fence is launched by the NHS control system. The expandable containment fence includes a membrane net. The expandable containment fence is configured to contain the hazardous gas leak by preventing the hazardous gas leak from spreading horizontally.
