HARD COAT LAYER-FORMING COMPOSITION AND EYEGLASS LENS
Provided is a hard coat layer-forming composition with which it is possible to form a hard coat layer that has excellent abrasion resistance and causes little change in shape to the surface of a substrate on which the hard coat layer is disposed. This hard coat layer-forming composition is used for forming a hard coat layer on a substrate, and comprises a compound having multiple epoxy groups, a silsesquioxane compound having an oxetanyl group, a photo cationic polymerization initiator, and a thermal cationic polymerization initiator, wherein the contained amount of the silsesquioxane compound having an oxetanyl group exceeds 70 mass with respect to the total mass of: the compound having multiple epoxy groups; and the silsesquioxane compound having an oxetanyl group.
Photo-elastic compensation of thin glass sheets
A coated glass substrate. The coated glass substrate comprises a glass sheet having a thickness from 0.1 to 0.7 mm and coated on a first side with a first optical layer having a positive photo-elastic constant and coated on a second side with a second optical layer having a negative photo-elastic constant.
ACTIVE COLOR-CHANGING LIQUID CRYSTAL FILAMENT AND YARN
A color-changing filament or yarn is provided that delivers fully-controllable full-spectrum response to current input. In embodiments, the filament is adapted to be woven into a textile and controlled to vary and maintain color independently of external temperature.
Display device and manufacturing method of base film
A display device includes a display panel including a substrate and a base film positioned on one surface of the display panel. The base film includes a first layer and a second layer overlapping each other, and a metal layer positioned between the first layer and the second layer. A modulus of each of the first layer and the second layer is 1 GPa to 10 GPa.
Flexible Substrate
Disclosed is a flexible substrate, which relates to the technical field of display. The flexible substrate includes a first film and a second film arranged from bottom to top in sequence. The second film is arranged to counteract birefringence effect generated by the first film so as to eliminate phase retardation of the flexible substrate. Thus, display effect can be improved, and impacts on a substrate due to increasing of film thickness can also be avoided. Besides, thickness of the flexible substrate can be determined according to actual needs.
Thermo-reversible adhesive composition and thermo-reversible adhesive sheet comprising the same
A thermo-reversible adhesive composition containing a base resin, methyl acetoacetate, and a metal-organic complex compound having the formula M(X).sub.n(R).sub.o, wherein: M is a metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum, iron, and nickel, X is acetylacetonate, R is H.sub.2O, n is an integer equal to 2 or 3, and o is an integer greater than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to 2, such that n+o is equal to 3 or 4.
Sheet for image display unit, laminate for image display unit, and image display unit
A sheet for an image display unit to be provided on the front face side of an image display unit includes a substrate layer containing a cycloolefin copolymer as a principal component and an elastomer having a refractive index substantially equal to the refractive index of the cycloolefin copolymer, in an amount of no less than 2 parts by mass and no greater than 7 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the cycloolefin copolymer. The substrate layer preferably has an average thickness of no less than 100 m and no greater than 500 m, a water absorbing rate preferably no greater than 0.5%, a tensile strength of preferably no less than 40 MPa and no greater than 70 MPa, and a tensile elongation in a longitudinal direction at 25 C. is preferably no less than 4% and no greater than 15%.
Display device
A display device, an electronic device, or a lighting device that is unlikely to be broken is provided. A flexible first substrate and a flexible second substrate overlap with each other with a display element provided therebetween. A flexible third substrate is bonded on the outer surface of the first substrate, and a flexible fourth substrate is bonded on the outer surface of the second substrate. The third substrate is formed using a material softer than the first substrate, and the fourth substrate is formed using a material softer than the second substrate.
Optical body including multilayer optical film and thin adhesive layer
Optical bodies are described. In particular, optical bodies having a birefringent multilayer optical film and a continuous adhesive layer with a thickness less than 20 micrometers are described. Optical bodies described herein exhibit reduced occurrence and severity of a non-uniformity defect known as orange peel.
