Timepiece component
Disclosed is a timepiece component including at least one housing intended to receive at least one precious or non-precious stone and including at least one first end, referred to as the setting end, and a rail. The rail is located on the periphery of the housing, and is arranged to allow the stone or stones to be inserted into the rail at the first end of the housing, such that the stone or stones can slide in the rail along the longitudinal axis of the housing, and to hold the stone or stones once inserted into the rail in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the housing.

A jewelry setting tool that may include one or more grip elements that may be used to grasp elements of a jewelry setting such as a prong of a gemstone setting without damaging the gemstone or any other portion of the setting. METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INTEGRATING GEMSTONES IN GLASS
A method and a device for encasing gemstones, such as diamonds, in glass. In order for their optical effects and appearance to be maximized, the gemstones are placed at a defined position and at a defined orientation. A suction cannula is provided for that purpose with an opening to fit the gemstone and to hold the gemstone by vacuum. Guide elements, such as spirals or meshes, are carried on the suction cannula so as to assure even distancing from the walls of the glass tube into which the gemstone is inserted.
Double Ended Hand Tool
A double ended hand tool created to pick up place and position flatback crystals, gems or other tiny items is disclosed. The tool contains a hollow, conical end which securely encases each crystal allowing the operator to easily position the crystal with no slip. The tool has a first end and a second end coupled by a shaft. The first end has a wax tip which allows the user to pick up crystals or other small items. The second end has a hollow narrow extended portion which allows the users to manipulate the crystal or other small items.

The invention concerns a transport element (1) for stones (4) with a round cut, comprising a holder (2) with a pavilion recess (11) for each stone (4), with a contact part (12) with a taper which deviates by maximum 10 from the taper of the pavilion (8), for supporting thereon a contact zone of the pavilion (8) between the girdle (7) and the culet (9), so that the girdle (7) remains outside the contact part (12), and wherein the pavilion recess (11) is formed such that the stone (4) in the pavilion recess (11) touches only this contact part (12). The invention also concerns a method for placing a stone (4) in a specific embodiment of such a transport element (1).

Stone setting machine
A stone setting machine that includes a base structure having a centrally disposed holding aperture, and a holder for a pre-cast setting basket meant to receive a stone. The pre-cast setting basket includes a plurality of prongs meant to be bent to retain the stone. The holder is disposed within the holding aperture. A plurality of slide members are supported over the base structure and meant to bend the prongs. The base structure includes a stationary plate member. A rotatable disc is provided for support by the stationary plate member has a plurality of disc control slots corresponding in number to the number of slide members. A plurality of control pins are received in respective disc control slots and coupled to respective slide members. An actuation mechanism is for controlling the rotatable disc which, in turn, controls the slide members to bend a corresponding respective prong.
