Single reactor process for benzene-saturation/isomertzation of light reformates
A process for reducing the benzene content of a light reformate refinery stream comprises the following steps: a) reducing the benzene content by exposing the light reformate to hydrogenation conditions in a benzene-saturation reactor bed, b) increasing the octane number of the hydrogenated light reformate produced in step a) by exposing it to isomerization conditions, c) further reducing the benzene content by exposing the light reformate refinery stream to further hydrogenation conditions, wherein the isomerization of step b) occurs after step a), the hydrogenation of step c) does not precede the isomerization step b), and steps a), b) and c) are all carried out within the same reactor.
INTEGRATED PROCESS FOR THE CONVERSION OF CRUDE TO OLEFINS
A process for producing light olefins comprising thermal cracking. Hydrocracked streams are thermally cracked in a steam cracker to produce light olefins. A pyrolysis gas stream is separated into a light stream and a heavy stream. A light stream is separated into an aromatic naphtha stream and a non-aromatic naphtha stream. The aromatics can be saturated and thermally cracked. The integrated process may be employed to obtain olefin products of high value from a crude stream.
INTEGRATED PROCESS FOR THE CONVERSION OF CRUDE TO OLEFINS
A process for producing light olefins comprising thermal cracking. Hydrocracked streams are thermally cracked in a steam cracker to produce light olefins. A pyrolysis gas stream is separated into a light stream and a heavy stream. A light stream is separated into an aromatic naphtha stream and a non-aromatic naphtha stream. The aromatics can be saturated and thermally cracked. The integrated process may be employed to obtain olefin products of high value from a crude stream.
Production of aromatics by reverse water gas shift, fermentation and recycling to pyrolysis
Device and process for the conversion of a feedstock of aromatic compounds, in which the feedstock is treated notably by means of a fractionation train (4-7), a xylene separation unit (10) and an isomerization unit (11), and in which a pyrolysis unit (13) treats a second hydrocarbon feedstock, produces a pyrolysis effluent feeding the feedstock, and produces a pyrolysis gas comprising CO, CO.sub.2 and H.sub.2; a reverse water gas shift RWGS reaction section (50) treats the pyrolysis gas and produces an RWGS gas enriched in CO and in water; a fermentation reaction section (52) treats the RWGS gas enriched in CO and in water, to produce ethanol and recycle the ethanol to the inlet of the pyrolysis unit.
PRODUCTION OF PARAFFINIC PRODUCTS
A method for combined production of renewable paraffinic products is disclosed, wherein the method includes providing a renewable paraffinic feed, and fractionating the renewable paraffinic feed into two fractions. Within the two fractions, a lighter fraction fulfils a specification for an aviation fuel component, and a heavier fraction fulfils a specification for an electrotechnical fluid component.

A method for combined production of renewable paraffinic products is disclosed, wherein the method includes providing a renewable paraffinic feed, and fractionating the renewable paraffinic feed into two fractions. Within the two fractions, a lighter fraction fulfils a specification for an aviation fuel component, and a heavier fraction fulfils a specification for an electrotechnical fluid component.
Circular economy for plastic waste to polypropylene and lubricating oil via refinery FCC and isomerization dewaxing units
A continuous process for converting waste plastic into recycle for polypropylene polymerization is provided. The process integrates refinery operations to provide an effective and efficient recycle process. The process comprises selecting waste plastics containing polyethylene and polypropylene and then passing the waste plastics through a pyrolysis reactor to thermally crack at least a portion of the polyolefin waste and produce a pyrolyzed effluent. The pyrolyzed effluent is separated into offgas, a naphtha/diesel fraction, a heavy fraction, and char. The naphtha/diesel fraction is passed to a refinery FCC unit, from which is recovered a liquid petroleum gas C.sub.3 olefin/paraffin mixture. The C.sub.3 paraffins and C.sub.3 olefins are separated into different fractions with a propane/propylene splitter. The C.sub.3 olefin fraction is passed to a propylene polymerization reactor. The C.sub.3 paraffin fraction is optionally passed to a dehydrogenation unit to produce additional propylene and then the resulting C.sub.3 olefin is passed to a propylene polymerization reactor. The heavy fraction of pyrolyzed oil is passed to an isomerization dewaxing unit to produce a lubricating base oil.
Circular economy for plastic waste to polypropylene and lubricating oil via refinery FCC and isomerization dewaxing units
A continuous process for converting waste plastic into recycle for polypropylene polymerization is provided. The process integrates refinery operations to provide an effective and efficient recycle process. The heavy fraction of pyrolyzed oil is passed to an isomerization dewaxing unit to produce a lubricating base oil.

A method for the isomerization of alpha-olefins to the corresponding internal olefins uses a heterogenous catalyst containing silicon-aluminum mixed oxide in a continuous fixed-bed operation mode.
PROCESS FOR ISOMERIZATION OF C5-C7 HYDROCARBONS IN LIGHT NAPHTHA RANGE
The present invention is related to the isomerization process in which a light naphtha stream comprising of paraffinic (mono and single branched), naphthenic and aromatic hydrocarbons in the range of C.sub.5-C.sub.7 is contacted with the solid catalyst in multiple reaction zones and in presence of hydrogen to produce high octane gasoline predominantly comprising of paraffins (single and di-branched) and naphthenes. The process scheme comprises of more than one isomerization reaction section operating at different temperatures and other operating conditions. The catalyst employed in these reaction sections is a high coordination sulfated mixed metal oxide catalyst which contains at least one noble metal and sulfated zirconia in addition to the other components. The process of the present invention also comprises more than one fractionation section and recycling of a particular stream to the reaction zone for improving the isomerization of light naphtha.
