ILLUMINATED WALKING ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
An illuminated walking assistance apparatus is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the apparatus provides an elongated staff having a ground-engaging tip portion at a first end and a handle at an opposing second end. The staff provides a light pipe positioned proximal the tip portion and having a light-emitting member disposed therein to selectively illuminate the ground proximal the tip portion. The staff further provides a red nightlight which is always on so as to facilitate locating the apparatus in a dark environment.

A leash is coupled to the housing and is positioned in the interior space. The leash is retractable type so that a cord of the leash is selectively extensible from the housing through an aperture. A user is positioned to couple the cord to a domestic animal to leash the domestic animal. A pole that is coupled to and extends from the housing comprises a plurality of nested sections so that the pole is selectively extensible and configured to serve as a mobility aid. A stun gun that is coupled to the pole distal from the housing is configured to administer an electrical shock to an attacker to incapacitate the attacker.

An animal tethering, assistive cane, and personal defense combination device incorporating user mobility and self-defense features includes a housing that defines an interior space. A leash is coupled to the housing and is positioned in the interior space. The leash is retractable type so that a cord of the leash is selectively extensible from the housing through an aperture. A portable solar strip light includes a solar module, a power supply, a strip light assembly and an electrical connector. The solar module is electrically connected to the power supply. The strip light assembly is electrically connected to the power supply via the electrical connector. The strip light assembly includes at least one strip light which is fixedly connected to an external object via a fastener. A modular walking stick assembly includes a walking stick that is elongated for support while walking. A plurality of weighted cylinders is provided and each of the weighted cylinders has a unique weight with respect to each other. Respective ones of the weighted cylinders is attachable to the walking stick to adjust the weight of the walking stick to accommodate a preference of a user. A sleeve is attachable to the walking stick or the weighted cylinder that is attached to the walking stick for gripping. A light emitter is coupled to the sleeve to emit light outwardly therefrom when the light emitter is turned on thereby making the user visible to other individuals.
