APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING OF MATERIALS
System, apparatuses, and methods for processing feedstock have a decomposing stage for breaking down feedstock into liquid and gaseous products and a condensing stage for condensing gaseous products to a liquid condensate. A mixing stage can also be used to combine gaseous and liquid feedstock portions into a combined liquid feedstock to be fed to the decomposing stage. The decomposing stage can be one or more flux tanks having a field generator for creating an electromagnetic field through the flux tank configured to decompose feedstock inside. The condensing stage can have a catalyst tank, distillation tank, condensing pipes, or a combination thereof. The mixing stage can be a reformer device having pairs of plates, at least some of the plates are capable of rotating to generate a shear force that creates a cavitation effect to combine the gaseous and liquid feedstock portions.

Methods for separating light fractions from hydrocarbon feedstock
A process for facile separation of lighter hydrocarbon fractions from the heavier fractions of hydrocarbon oil feedstocks is disclosed, which utilizes novel sparging and reverse distillation techniques. The present invention can be utilized for the facile topping of crude oil extracted on-site. Moreover, while heavier hydrocarbon fractions may be shipped to refineries for further processing, this invention will also prove useful for quick separation of light fractions produced by cracking processes off-site.

The hydrocarbon fluid mixture including a hydrocarbon liquid and a gas entrained in the hydrocarbon liquid, the ultrasonic transducer system adapted to transmit ultrasonic signals into the hydrocarbon fluid mixture along the flowpath, and the ultrasonic signals adapted to separate the gas from the hydrocarbon liquid.

A method includes introducing a crude oil process stream into an electro-kinetic separator (EKS), passing the crude oil process stream through an electric field generated by the EKS, and removing at least a portion of salt and solid particles from the crude oil process stream as the crude oil process stream passes through the electric field. A product stream is discharged from the EKS with reduced salt and solid particle count as compared to the crude oil process stream.
