CIRCULAR ECONOMY FOR PLASTIC WASTE TO POLYPROPYLENE VIA REFINERY FCC AND ALKYLATION UNITS
Provided is a continuous process for converting waste plastic into recycle for polypropylene polymerization. The process comprises selecting waste plastics containing polyethylene and/or polypropylene and passing the waste plastics through a pyrolysis reactor to thermally crack at least a portion of the polyolefin waste and produce a pyrolyzed effluent. The pyrolyzed effluent is separated into offgas, a naphtha/diesel fraction, a heavy fraction, and char. Pyrolysis oil and wax, comprising the naphtha/diesel fraction and heavy fraction, is sent to a refinery FCC unit. A liquid petroleum gas C.sub.3-C.sub.5 olefin/paraffin mixture is recovered from the FCC unit and passed to a refinery alkylation unit. A propane fraction is recovered from the alkylation unit and passed to a dehydrogenation unit to produce propylene. The propylene is passed to a propylene polymerization reactor.
ETHYLENE-TO-LIQUIDS SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Integrated systems are provided for the production of higher hydrocarbon compositions, for example liquid hydrocarbon compositions, from methane using an oxidative coupling of methane system to convert methane to ethylene, followed by conversion of ethylene to selectable higher hydrocarbon products. Integrated systems and processes are provided that process methane through to these higher hydrocarbon products.

NATURAL GAS LIQUIDS UPGRADING PROCESS: TWO-STEP CATALYTIC PROCESS FOR ALKANE DEHYDROGENATION AND OLIGOMERIZATION
A process to catalytically transform natural gas liquid (NGL) into higher molecular weight hydrocarbons includes providing an NGL stream, catalytically dehydrogenating at least a portion of the NGL stream components to their corresponding alkene derivatives, catalytically oligomerizing at least a portion of the alkenes to higher molecular weight hydrocarbons and recovering the higher molecular weight hydrocarbons. The NGL stream can be extracted from a gas stream such as a gas stream coming from shale formations. The higher molecular weight hydrocarbons can be hydrocarbons that are liquid at ambient temperature and ambient pressure.
Process for converting C2-C5 hydrocarbons to gasoline and diesel fuel blendstocks
A process for converting C2-5 alkanes to higher value C5-24 hydrocarbon fuels and blendstocks. The C2-5 alkanes are converted to olefins by thermal olefination, without the use of a dehydrogenation catalyst and without the use of steam. The product olefins are fed to an oligomerization reactor containing a zeolite catalyst to crack, oligomerize and cyclize the olens to the fuel products which are then recovered. Optionally, hydrogen and methane are removed from the product olefin stream prior to oligomerization. Further optionally, C2-5 alkanes are removed from the product olefin stream prior to oligomerization.
METHOD FOR ALCOHOL UPGRADING TO JET, DIESEL, GASOLINE, AND VALUABLE CO-PRODUCTS
A method for converting an alcohol to a jet-diesel hydrocarbon fraction, comprising contacting the alcohol with a pillared two-dimensional zeolite catalyst at a temperature of at least 200 C. and up to 500 C. to convert the alcohol to hydrocarbons comprising: (a) a first mixed olefin fraction containing a mixture of C.sub.2-C.sub.5 olefins; (b) a first paraffin fraction containing C.sub.3-C.sub.5 paraffins; and (c) a gasoline fraction containing C.sub.6.sup.+ hydrocarbons; and the conversion of the alcohol is energy neutral or exothermic. The first mixed olefin fraction may be subjected to an oligomerization process to result in a second paraffin fraction containing C.sub.3-C.sub.6 paraffins along with a C.sub.7.sup.+ partially unsaturated fraction, and the first and second paraffin fractions combined into a total C.sub.3-C.sub.6 paraffin fraction, which can in turn be subjected to a dehydrogenation or aromatization process with hydrogen gas as byproduct, and the hydrogen gas recycled for use in producing the jet-diesel fraction.
LIGHT ALKANES TO LIQUID FUELS
The present disclosure relates generally processes and systems for converting a C2-C7 light alkanes feed to liquid transportation fuels or value-added chemicals. The feed is contacted with an aromatization catalyst at a temperature and pressure that selectively converts C4 and larger alkanes to an intermediate product comprising monocyclic aromatics and olefins. Following separation of the aromatics and C5+ hydrocarbons from the intermediate product, unconverted C2-C3 alkanes are thermally-cracked to produce olefins that are subsequently oligomerized to produce a liquid transportation fuel blend stock or value-added chemicals.

SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES FOR UPGRADING NATURAL GAS LIQUIDS FROM SHALE GAS
Systems and processes for upgrading natural gas liquids (NGL). A natural gas, preferably a shale gas, comprising methane and one or more natural gas liquids can be converted to one or more liquid hydrocarbons. Methane can be separated from the one or more liquid hydrocarbons using a liquid absorbent to provide a first separated stream comprising the methane from the converted stream and a second separated stream comprising the one or more liquid hydrocarbons from the converted stream. At least a portion of the one or more liquid hydrocarbons can be recycled as the liquid absorbent.
CIRCULAR CHEMICALS OR POLYMERS FROM PYROLYZED PLASTIC WASTE AND THE USE OF MASS BALANCE ACCOUNTING TO ALLOW FOR CREDITING THE RESULTANT PRODUCTS AS CIRCULAR
This disclosure relates to the production of chemicals and plastics using pyrolysis oil from the pyrolysis of plastic waste as a co-feedstock along with a petroleum-based, fossil fuel-based, or bio-based feedstock. In an aspect, the polymers and chemicals produced according to this disclosure can be certified under International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) provisions as circular polymers and chemicals at any point along complex chemical reaction pathways. The use of a mass balance approach which attributes the pounds of pyrolyzed plastic products derived from pyrolysis oil to any output stream of a given unit has been developed, which permits ISCC certification agency approval.
