A cantilever umbrella including a frame having an upper tray and a lower tray is provided. Two first crossed rods, a transverse rod and a first long rib are articulated to the upper tray. Two second crossed rods and two first short ribs are articulated to the lower tray. One of the two first short ribs is articulated to a middle portion of the transverse rod and the other one is articulated to a middle portion of the first long rib. A middle portion of each second crossed rod is articulated to a middle portion of the first crossed rod on a same side. An end of each first crossed rod is articulated with a short-rib tray which is articulated to a short rib, and an end of each second crossed rod is articulated with a long-rib tray which is articulated to a long rib. The short ribs each has one end articulated to the short-rib tray and another end articulated to a middle portion of one of the long ribs. The upper tray and the two long-rib trays are each disposed with a cap thereon, and a canopy fabric is covered on the long ribs to form three canopies.
Canopies and canopy support structures
A canopy support structure includes a support pole having a track, a three-dimensional array of hub pairs, and a plurality of articulating arms connecting the hub pairs. The track extends in a longitudinal direction along the support pole. The hubs of each hub pair are movable toward/away from each other during extension/retraction of the canopy support structure. A primary hub pair includes a first hub and a second hub, with each of the first hub and the second hub coupled to the support pole. At least one of the first hub and the second hub is slidably engaged with the track and movable along the support pole. The articulating arms include sets of scissor-connected primary articulating arms. Each of the hub pairs is pivotally connected to at least one other of the hub pairs by a respective set of the scissor-connected primary articulating arms.
SUSPENDED CANOPY SUPPORT STRUCTURES
A canopy support structure includes a plurality of hubs arranged in series, and a plurality of articulating arms connecting the plurality of hubs. At least one of the plurality of hubs is suspended from above by a support member. At least some of the plurality of hubs are movable toward and away from each other to operate the canopy support structure between expanded and retracted positions. The plurality of articulating arms include a plurality of primary ribs connected directly to the plurality of hubs. The plurality of articulating arms may also include a plurality of secondary ribs connected to some of the plurality of primary ribs, and a plurality of tertiary ribs coupled between the plurality of secondary ribs and other of the plurality of primary ribs.
Identity shielding device
Disclosed is an identity shielding device to be used when notable persons do not wish to have their photograph taken. In one embodiment, an identity shielding device has a shaft with first and second ends; a sliding splint slideably attached to the shaft; and a foldable framework attached to the sliding splint and the first end of the shaft, the framework being open at both ends, and having a collapsible shield affixed to the framework. The foldable framework includes both ribs and fasteners.
SUN UMBRELLA LOCKING DEVICE
A sun umbrella locking device includes: a sliding base, a locking clamping base and a fastening assembly, wherein a sliding chamber is formed in the locking clamping base, and two locking pieces are arranged on side surfaces of the locking clamping base; an expansion joint is formed between the two locking pieces, and the expansion joint extends into the sliding chamber of the locking clamping base; the two locking pieces are respectively provided with a first locking hole, the sliding base is provided with an accommodating chamber, and the locking clamping base is arranged in the accommodating chamber; the sliding base is provided with a second locking hole aligned with the first locking hole; after passing through the second locking hole and the first locking hole, the fastening assembly is connected to the sliding base and the locking clamping base.
Positioning Mechanism of an Umbrella
A positioning mechanism of an umbrella comprises a stand; a sliding seat capable of sliding along a length of the stand and; a synchronous toothed belt connected to the stand. The stand has a groove on a periphery of the stand extending along the length of the stand, the synchronous toothed belt is disposed inside the groove; the sliding seat has a toothed block or pin capable of engaging with the synchronous toothed belt, a button is disposed on the sliding seat, a torsion spring is resisted to drive the button to push the toothed block or pin to engage with the synchronous toothed belt. The stand of the present invention can be machined in various way and can be in various shapes, and is novel in appearance, easy to machine, firm and stable in positioning, and low in cost.
SHADE APPARATUS
The invention features a shade apparatus adapted to provide shade to an individual or individuals while they are outside and in need of shade from sunlight. Aspects of embodiments of the present invention contemplate a shade apparatus that is easily portable and easily adapted to the sun's changing positions, thereby providing the individual/user with shade from sunlight.
Umbrella having a pivot joint to provide additional degrees of freedom of orientation of its canopy
An umbrella having a support arm, a canopy having a support hub defining a first axis, and a pivot joint coupling the support hub to the support structure. The pivot joint is rotatable with respect to the support structure, about a second axis at a fixed angle with respect to the support structure. The pivot joint has a rotatable joint axle rotatably coupled to the support structure, and a tilt joint axle having a first end rotatably coupled to the rotatable joint axle along an interface plane at an angle, and a second end coupled to the support hub, wherein the tilt joint axle defines a longitudinal third axis. The orientation of the canopy can be changed with respect to the support structure by rotating the rotatable joint axle about the second axis.
Angle-adjustable umbrella without rope
An angle-adjustable umbrella has a column, a transverse rod, a tilted rod, an umbrella frame and a clutch mechanism. The tilted rod has a first tilted rod and a second tilted rod, and the top end of the first tilted rod is hinged to the top of the column, the bottom end thereof is rotatably connected to a connector on the second tilted rod through a tilted rod joint. The transverse rod has a first transverse rod and a second transverse rod which are connected each other by connecting pieces, and the connecting pieces are coupled to the tilted rod.
