INTEGRATED GASIFICATION AND ELECTROLYSIS PROCESS
Aspects of the invention relate to improvements in the flexibility with which oxygen and hydrogen, for example from electrolysis, may be supplied to processes having both gasification and methanation steps, as well as improvements in how such processes may be operated in response to variations in carbonaceous feeds. Offsets, between the ideal quantity of hydrogen and the quantity available from a given source may be compensated for by adjusting one or more operations of the process, and in particular such operation(s) that ultimately impact the quantity of CO and/or CO.sub.2 available downstream of the gasifier for conversion to methane in an RNG product stream.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREPARING FUEL GAS WITH HIGH HEAT VALUE AND SAFETY
A method and a system for preparing a safe high heating value fuel gas. In the method, the hydrogen, oxygen and water generated by means of electrolysis are formed into molecular groups by means of hydrogen bond resonance within water molecules. The molecular groups are reformed by using a reforming liquid to obtain a high heating value fuel gas, wherein the reforming liquid comprises hydrocarbon C.sub.xH.sub.2x+2 and/or hydrocarbon C.sub.xH.sub.2x+2O. The high heating value fuel gas prepared by the aforementioned method is safe, easily stored, high in heating value while having no impact on the environment.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREPARING FUEL GAS WITH HIGH HEAT VALUE AND SAFETY
A method and a system for preparing a safe high heating value fuel gas. In the method, the hydrogen, oxygen and water generated by means of electrolysis are formed into molecular groups by means of hydrogen bond resonance within water molecules. The molecular groups are reformed by using a reforming liquid to obtain a high heating value fuel gas, wherein the reforming liquid comprises hydrocarbon C.sub.xH.sub.2x+2 and/or hydrocarbon C.sub.xH.sub.2x+2O. The high heating value fuel gas prepared by the aforementioned method is safe, easily stored, high in heating value while having no impact on the environment.
Multi-purpose application of the second stage of a 2-stage bio-reforming reactor system for reforming bio-syngas, natural gas and process recycle streams
Multiple stages of reactors form a bio-reforming reactor that generates chemical grade bio-syngas for any of 1) a methanol synthesis reactor, 2) a Methanol-to-Gasoline reactor train, 3) a high temperature Fischer-Tropsch reactor train, and 4) any combination of these three that use the chemical grade bio-syngas derived from biomass fed into the bio-reforming reactor. A tubular chemical reactor of a second stage has inputs configured to receive chemical feedstock from at least two sources, i) the raw syngas from the reactor output of the first stage via a cyclone, and ii) purge gas containing renewable carbon-based gases that are recycled back via a recycle loop as a chemical feedstock from any of 1) the downstream methanol-synthesis-reactor train, 2) the downstream methanol-to-gasoline reactor train, or 3) purge gas from both trains. The plant produces fuel products with solely 100% biogenic carbon content as well as fuel products with 50-100% biogenic carbon content.
OPTIMIZING CARBON MONOXIDE PRODUCTION FROMHETEROGENEOUS FEEDSTOCK
It is provided a process for increasing production of carbon monoxide (CO) and recycling carbon dioxide when treating synthesis gas using a carbon dioxide-to-carbon monoxide conversion unit, such as a Reverse Water Gas Shift (RWGS) reactor, converting excess CO.sub.2 from the produced syngas to additional CO, using an external source of green, renewable or low carbon intensity hydrogen.

A butadiene production system and a butadiene production method are provided in which butadiene can be produced with a high yield. The butadiene production system (1) includes: a gas preparation device (10) that heats raw materials to prepare a mixed gas including hydrogen and carbon monoxide; an ethanol production device (12) that is provided downstream of the gas preparation device (10) and brings the mixed gas including hydrogen and carbon monoxide into contact with a first catalyst to obtain ethanol; a butadiene production device (16) that is provided downstream of the ethanol production device (12) and brings the ethanol into contact with a second catalyst to obtain butadiene; and return means (18) for returning hydrogen, which is produced as a by-product in the butadiene production device (16), to the ethanol production device (12). In addition, in the butadiene production method, the butadiene production system (1) is used.
